shanezer : Actually takes skill? DBZ is a button masher. Plus, I don't see a few hundred thousand professional tournament players for DBZ, but there's certainly that much for Smash Bros. Smash Bros. was not meant to be easy either. DBZ is literally just "mash square a bunch, press circle, press triangle, repeat." Where did you hear Smash was meant to be easy?

I like Smash Bros more, but what would be even better would be if we had DBZ characters in Smash, then we could be obliterated by an overpowered Vegeta that is better than Diddy Kong's hoo-hah.

I definitely say without a doubt Smash Bros is far superior over Dragon Ball Z because of all the video game characters from different franchises that come together to fight it out to decide who's the best of the best. Dragon Ball Z may be a cool anime, but it's nothing compared to the awesomeness of Smash Bros.

That's the main reason I don't want DBZ characters in Smash Bros. is because, well, Goku beat Frieza, Frieza can blow up planets, and Vegeta beat Goku. So technically all three could blow up planets. Power to blow up planets VS. A mouse with lightning powers.

Intense fighting, transformations, open battlefield etc. Dbz obliterates ssbs.

Anyways, I personally prefer Smash Bros. It's just so much fun!

   I much prefer Smash Bros. over Dragon Ball Z. I could never get into DBZ, while Smash Bros. is something I can play for hours and hours on end, without it ever feeling stale. I'll pick Smash over a DBZ game every single time.

Both sides are incredibly overpowered in their own way, and I do share an immense liking for both SSB and Dragon Ball Z. I pretty much grew up watching DBZ and to this day, I still enjoy it. I'm also really hyped for the Revival of Frieza movie, so that's a plus. I also greatly enjoy smash bros, the whole nature and concept of it is just remarkable to me. SSB is something I enjoy on a daily basis, and will more than likely end up playing right after I finish making this post. 


In terms of being more enjoyable, I have to give it to Smash Bros because I play it all the time and never get bored. For nostalgia however, I have to give it to DBZ because it is something I grew up with. Each of these franchises help comprise and provide the basis for the types of things that I enjoy and take interest in, therefore, I cannot simply put one above the other.

It's pretty sad how Dragon Ball Z is losing so badly to Smash Bros.

I really like the Dragon Ball Z games, like, a lot. I own most of them, and played all of them, and they're REALLY fun games to play. 

I also do like Smash Bros a lot, but Dragon Ball Z is just way better to me.

I have an feeling people are voting for SSB solely out of favouring it. Completely ignoring what DBZ has to offer.

Hmmm gonna have to say Dbz just on the fact that it has an interesting story and that I like the characters. Don't get me wrong I love smash bros but after all the hype its getting I smply lost interest in it. Besides I grew up watching dbz on toonami and I find that more nostalgic than playing smash bros.

I actually like both series, but I actually don't own SSB. I do love all the Nintendo characters, and SSB does require a lot of skill, but to me, I prefer DBZ games. Budokai Tenkaichi 3 being my favorite (obviously, it's so good.). I never really had an amazing feeling SSB. You can do some cool stuff, but in DBZ, you're smashing mountains, throwing people though buildings, scorching the planet, having epic energy battles, all that insane stuff. I also love flying around the huge battlefield, in any direction. Tenkaichi 3 is what DBZ games are supposed to be.

   I also picked up Xenoverse yesterday, and have been loving that. Being able to make a new fighter, and not just a custom skills fighter? So awesome. Oh, just remembered the Mii fighter, so you can kind of do that with SSB. Hm.

   So, in summation, I love both games, but I prefer Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3-esque games better (Even though I think the Ultimate attacks looked WAY better in Budokai 3, Bardock's was my favorite. The emotional fist through the stomach, as opposed to Tenkaichi 3's just a large energy ball. ). Weird Parenthesis.

P.S. Oh, and yeah, the DBZ games have been hit-and-miss, but I think the amazingness of Tenkaichi 3 overrules that.

Final Weapon : Actually, no, not at all. If you actually read some people's posts you can see that most people that voted for Smash Bros. either almost picked DBZ or were still fans of DBZ.

The whole Anime... Everything is perfect imo, all fillers except Garlic are also perfect. I love Dragon Ball Z maybe a tiiiiny bit too much... And I really like the 3D Games.

Something I've always wanted since Melee... If Sakurai manages that, I would vote for Smash. But now, I choose DBZ because Gohan is the best & adorable amazing fights & story, enjoyable fillers.

Also, someone please murder Dragon Ball Z Kai. I hate Gohan's voice in Kai

I'm not really into smash bros as much as I am into dragonball z games I play more of that. Also I enjoy it a lot. So my vote goes to dragonball z.

I prefer Super Smash Bros. than DBZ.
SSB is a lot better than this.
In Smash Bros. fighting other video game characters isn't the only thing you can do. Like in SSBB you've got a story line. Also , you're collecting trophies , leveling up your characters , even you can custom  them. By the way in new SSB 8 players can play at the same time.
As I've said , I'll always prefer Super Smash Bros. than DBZ.
