If you have ever broken up with anyone, is there someone you just wish you could get back into your life?

I knew someone once, they broke with me, well it did not really happen that way, but for years I still think of them and wonder what they are up to? I guess that is natural, but is there someone you wish you could get back with?

Luckily for me that passed or I might still be going mad for them.

I mean we break up for good reasons and a person is never yours anyway so perhaps it is time that one declares their love and move on?

Heavy topic, i wonder if it might cause a relapse in recollection.

The grass is always greener, so they say. I have long adored someone for ages, but it just didn't happen. We both got in serious relationships and are not home-wrecker types. We remain the closest friends now, and who knows if we would have tried a relationship if we would even still have friendship. I find it best just to assume it was for the best if you are in a current relationship, before you undermine what you currently have.

This is a rather personal and tough topic to go through especially when you have been in a relationship.

I have went through this process a couple times after I had a break-up with my ex. Later on in my life though, I learned to move on and let him and myself go on our own separate ways. There are always other people out there to look out for and one can suit with you better than the previous person that you have dated.

Honestly, No. With every break up comes the chance to love another person, And love is something that we should all experience at least once, If i just let myself drown in pity and what- ifs then it would be pointless. 

After all thanks to keeping a positive attitude i am now in a relationship with styrofoamboots and she is amazing. So yeah keep positive and stay true to yourself and love may be closer than you think, Or not, I'm not like some random person that writes star sign columns lol

Oh my first love Amy Gordon where are you now?  Yea I think I would take any lost love and try to rekindle it.  Maybe it is just something about me but when I say I love you I mean it.  I will remember all of my loves for all my life, and I will always wish they would return to mine.  Oh well it is just me for the moment.  Who is next?  I got my eyes on this cashier at work.  She is short as , well like 4'9" or something, she might be next or maybe somebody else.

Yes. It's a recent breakup, so maybe that's part of it.

It's a long story, but before we met she got married fairly young to an abusive guy. When we met we had agreed to take our time and go slow. That didn't happen and we fell quick for each other. We were together for a little over a year, and I don't know what happened, but she had just said that she wasn't happy and she needed a break and didnt think she wanted a relationship at that time.

It's been almost 2 months, and I still think about her all the time and want to be with her. I'm trying my hardest to put her out of my memory, but literally everything has a memory with her attached to it. As dumb as it is, I still hold on to a hope that she and I can be together again.
