Nintendo is not allowing x and y to be able to use megas form omega ruby and alpha sapphire which i'm really mad with. In my opinion their excuse is stupid, also i think Nintendo is going to lose money because of this. Just saying i think it would be a lot easier to have a patch for the games seeing there in the same gen. Anyways I would love to hear you opinions.

FunnyFurret : What i meant is that they may lose money by making some fans mad because you cant transfer alpha/omega megas to x and y and that you have to start over to gather items all over again. This is mostly for competitive players like myself. What ive been getting from what they said is that you can only use bank to transfer pokemon over.

Seth Burn : Honestly Nintendo could care less if a handfull of fans got mad, they won't lose money for that. Starting all over again is something you'll have to live with. If you really are too lazy to spend one week getting items you can always play online or continue playing x and y.

Not really. I mean, I could live without it. In the past, Gamefreak has shifted its services and attention to newer games. In my opinion, Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire aren't any different. Besides, knowing them, they could be bringing a plethora of features and services to the third version of X and Y to make up for what was missing compatibility-wise.

Why would they make a patch? The new games are the ones getting the fame and Nintendo will still get money regardless. If you don't like it then don't buy the game. Upgraded Pokemon and more stuff = more money which is what Nintendo is trying to get you to do.

I could care less honestly. Don't play much competitively in game because I'm just too lazy to ev's train all my pokemon and breed them for egg moves and the right iv's etc. Yes some fans might be mad about it but I doubt it will stop anyone from getting Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire if they planned on it. And like Furret said you could then trade mega stones to a non patched version and crash their game which could cause a lot of problems and make a lot of people angry at Nintendo. Not to mention the time and money it takes to make a free patch.
