I know that a lot of guys out there like the girls that dress themselves a little showier. But I've never really been that way. Me, I'm much more attracted to modesty. I think it shows something so much more beautiful; when a girl is modest as compared to not as much. I wonder what kind of heat I'm gonna take on this...

I personally don't care what anyone wears, as long as they have a beautiful personality. Granted, you must also be attractive in my eyes for me to even slightly care about you in any other manner besides friendship.
As I have witnessed, people anymore just like showy. Also, most people just don't seem to truly care about the person, but more-so their body/what they look like. Not quite sure if that's a comment you were looking for but hey *shrugs* lol!

I think you're looking at the wrong girls.  There is a massive number of girls who are conservative and don't need to show skin or show off fancy clothes.  They don't dress provocatively but you're probably not seeing them because your attention, negative or positive, is focused on the girls with the clothes that show off.

Personally, I don't mind a girl who is proud of her body and shows off a little.  It's a confidence thing to me that shows she cares and appreciates her physical appearance, she takes care of herself, and she has some attitude and sass.  I never minded a girl who had a little sass and attitude in them.  

Plus, don't judge a book by its cover.  Just because a girl dresses what you deem provocatively doesn't mean they're (a) a bad person or (b) promiscuous.  Let's all get to know people before we make judgements.

You are surely not alone in your appreciation of the modest maiden. 

Here's a protip: Whenever you think to yourself- "Is it just me that does _______?" 99.999999998% of the time it's not just going to just be you. I think, in the end, it's all about personal preference. People have different boundaries for showy and/or modest. Most people are just going to dress the way they want to dress. In the end, all you need to ask yourself when looking at attractiveness is "Do I think she looks nice?". If the answer is yes, ta-da, she's attractive.

Thank you, someone else that feels the same way I do....in fact, I made a thread somewhat similar to this. So many guys (not all) and vice versa at my school base their opinions on how flashy girls like to dress, or how popular they are, and I'm not going to lie, looks are somewhat important but some people let that form the basis for their expectations in the opposite gender. If you are going to be spending and dedicating a lot of time with someone else, I definitely think it is worth it to be with someone who has a good personality and maybe has things in common with you. This is exactly why I am waiting until later on in my life before I dive into this sort of thing because at least 90% of the girls in my school dress like trash, and act like it as well. I've always preferred modesty over anything else. 

All I can really say is, be patient and keep an open mind, I am sure there is someone out there waiting for you. All good things to those who wait. 

No, it's not just you, for there are plenty of men who feel the same way. Me personally, I think having a balance would be appealing. Having a little modesty and at the same time having confidence in their body can be attractive because they know that they don't have to act like everyone else, but at the same time, they know how beautiful they are or can be.

Despite my point though, I think you shouldn't worry about this. There are men who feel the same, and at the same time, there are women who display modesty all the time.

A modestly dressed woman is more likely to have traits that I'm looking for in character, and, in fact, modestly is one of those traits.

No need to have holes in your jeans and. . . well, I'd rather not describe it.

I agree with FaithFighter here, a modest girl is much more attractive to me. I actually have a harder time taking my eyes of a girl who dresses modestly, when comparing it to a girl who is showy... But I don't want to make it attractive, I would want a girl with personality, one who is smart, and caring. Christian and several other things, I won't make a list here.

Na it's cool for me as long as the gal has a nice looking body, and pretty little face she can dress anyway she wants I ain't really that particular like that, I say live and let live when it is on the topic of how the person dresses, now if the girl doesn't like the way I dress I sat gtfo too bad honey can't change the stripes on a tiger nor the spots on the leopard. As long as the girl ain't in a hijab for me at least then it's all good unless it's the halloween type one like the girl looks like princess Jasmine then I'm all in, like a straight flush.

Honestly speaking I don't care what a girl wears as long as she is comfortable in wearing it... She could cover up every piece of her skin or even reveal more than most people would consider acceptable but at the end of the day. It's about the persons personality. Well for me anyway.

As long as the person I love is happy with the way they dress, I am happy too and will support them. People focus far too much on looks and make their own opinions and thoughts on people based on that, but then again Every person judges another in some way or form...

Easiest example is the members who are concerned and get agitated over trust points... Does being trusted make people treat you differently... Nope... Pretty much the same as being an Elite (unless you was known for being a global etc before you stepped down) but it's when you become a Local Moderator that you notice people change how they speak to you... And as a past local moderator it's pretty annoying... 

I guess that went a bit off tangent..My point is that it shouldn't matter what people wear... it's more down to peoples ability to look through material things.. And just focus on what is truly important in a relationship.. Their personality...

FaithFighter : Me personally, I could care less what you look like, I'm more interested in your personality and morals. You could be the best looking woman in the room and if you are a mean person by nature then I have no interest in you. I've been the young and stupid way back when all I cared about was looks. Also I prefer modesty in the way a girl dresses because to me that is sexy in it's own way without being trashy. I don't care for girls that dress real revealing because hey lets be honest they show off everything and leave nothing to the imagination. 

I admit prefering modesty too. I do like looking at someone with clothes that shows their body in an advantageous manner, but please don't push it. Leave a little imagination
