Today's Double CP Action is Thread.

Last day to "win and wear" a Jersey but not the last day to "earn" a Jersey. In other words, if you win a Jersey today, you get to wear it tomorrow but if you win a Jersey tomorrow, you don't get to wear it the following day since the following month is when Overall Jersey winners get to wear their Jersey all month long.

Davideo7: I meant they get paid more CP because they have more opportunities. Sorry, I wasn't clear enough. What I meant by "based off work in real life" is that as leaders (staff members) they have more opportunities and they get more CP because of those opportunities, just like work in real life.

PacmanandMariofan : Ok I see. Good analogy. Someone in real life who is qualified has more opportunities.

PacmanandMariofan : Good point there. Some people complained about the unbalanced system between staff and normal members especially during this month. I think that staff deserves more CP since they contribute more to the website and help to keep it going. 

Well, it looks like, everyone got their jerseys and banners with the exception of the Yellow Jersey, either Sonicmcmuffin or Endings will win it and the winner will be decided tomorrow.

sonicmcmuffin : I'm pulling for you to win the Yellow Jersey, you work really hard for this jersey and I hope you pull it off, you should go on a posting spree for the 31st and then you can rest up.

I believe this is the 3rd or 4th day in a row that I've had my name italicized and based on how many threads I still have to reply to, I'm sure I'll get it again tomorrow and possibly even Saturday. It's definitely a personal record.

Personally, I'm rooting for sonic. He has definitely posted not only the most consistently he ever has, but he's posted the highest quality posts of anyone in the top 5 for the yellow jersey.

I like to reward quality. And sonicmcmuffin is among the most quality members of the site, let alone contenders in the TDV.

legacyme3 : That's one of the reasons. Based on the full Tour de Vizzed results, there have been only a few winners of the competition who weren't staff members. Endings has been trying his best especially as a non staff member.

legacyme3 : Thanks for the nice words, I do not want to be seen as a brown nose but thanks for the praise. Mainly because we've both been active on this site for a long time and you understand the unnatural effort I have put into winning this jersey. 

Also I am honestly hoping that I can keep up with this posting, Just that I will not have to stay up until 5am to post which will be great.

Part of it is that I like being able to get nostalgic over seeing people I know doing well in these events. Seeing David win the Rainbow, and seeing you win the yellow are the highlights of this TDV for me. It's refreshing to see quality members doing well, rather than the spammier ones I feel we've had in recent years.

I'm sure you can do it. You are on pace to finish 3rd today, which would mean all you'd need to do is place what, third or so, to seal the deal tomorrow?

And with how a jersey isn't on the line tomorrow (whoever wins tomorrow doesn't get the jersey the next day unless it's you or endings) there's no incentive for competitors to get in your way.

It'll take a catastrophy for endings to pass you at this point.

Well, since Sonicmcmuffic clinched the Yellow Jersey, today would be a pretty useless day, all jerseys and banners are already claimed. but hey, why not go out with Style with the final day of TdV until January 1st, 2015.

Congrats everyone on whoever won a jersey and banner, and I hope everyone (especially myself) will do their best in the next TdV in January.
