In this competition you will try to draw the best drawing you can of a Zelda, Link or anything of the Zelda universe in Mario Paint:

Rules:
-The drawing needs to be Zelda / Link themed in some way
-No more than 3 submissions per a user
-Be sure to give each of your submissions a title
-You MUST use the Vizzed RGR Plugin to take the screenshots
The Screenshot you submit has to be a screenshot you took with the RGR Plugin and the URL of the image has to be the same url of the image of the screenshot you took, you cannot upload your screenshot somewhere else and use that as your submission, you have to use the actual url of the images that were uploaded when you took the screenshots.
-If you can get the mouse to work, you may use the Mouse enabled version of Mario Paint found here:

(you have to make adjustments from the menu and it only works in IE and FF)


TIP: You have to click Mario with the A key in order to start
TIP2: Although the original game required a mouse, this version you can simply use your keyboard arrows (or controller d-pad if you're using a controller)

Prizes:
1st = 25,000 Viz (and $25 with recording)
2nd = 10,000 Viz (and $10 with recording)
3rd = 5,000 Viz


BONUS: If you rank in the top 2 and recorded yourself making the drawing then you're eligible for a cash prize on top of the Viz prize. 1st place would get $25 and 2nd place would get $10. You can record with an external recording program but if you want to record with the RGR Plugin, you'll have to play the game using Mednafen (link can be found at the top left of the play window).

   Sounds like a fun challenge. I can't wait to see some of the entries. I do have a question about the video recording, though. Would the video have to be making the entire thing starting from nothing? And if so, would we be allowed to speed up the video ourselves so that it is a length that is watchable, since I'm assuming the winners will have spent a lot of time making it.

patar4097 : The video would have to be from start to finish. I'd prefer that it wasn't not sped up because what I want to do after this competition is over is compile a video with all of the video submissions and from that I'll speed them all up. If I speed it up myself it allows me to make sure they all get sped up by the same amount.

Davideo7 : Is something up with your title making skills lately? That's three title mistakes today.

zanderlex : I didn't get much sleep last night When I lack sleep, I tend to make a lot of mistakes. Also, been working on the site literally all day, from the time I wake up until I go to sleep. The 1st day of the month is always my busiest day and it's especially busy when the TdV comes around.

Davideo7 : the problem with Mednafen is that in the mouse version of the game (which I use) doesn't allow to change the gamepad for the mouse, so if I want to record a video must be with an external program.

I'm actually interested to join this time. This is also the first time that I ever played this game, it's really fun! I tried my best but I only could make something using Special Stamp.. But I find I did a great job on this.

Note ~ I didn't record this because recording doesn't work well with this Laptop.

Dahaka : Yeah you can use an external program to record the gameplay if you use the default emulator.

TornadoMudkip : I always enjoy looking at pixel art lol. I could make an entire competition dedicated to pixel art using this game actually. Maybe in a future competition.

Davideo7 : Are we allowed to use Pixel Art (stamps), or is it just painting?

miystery : You can pretty much do whatever you want but do what you think will please the judges (which will be the staff).
