Honestly, I think yes. It was a hard answer to come up with and I'll leave my reasons why.

I was thinking maybe it shouldn't be. I have a very respectable reason though, in my opinion. I was thinking about how the kid might feel. If anyone who knew him knew that his parents were gay, he'd probably get picked on a whole bunch. This was the only reason I was thinking about why it shouldn't be legal.

The reasons I think it should be legal outweigh the reason it shouldn't be though, so I think it should be legal. Everyone deserves a chance to have a kid and watch them grow up. Everyone also should have the possibility of having that chance be taken away from them. Just because someone likes the same gender doesn't change the fact that they were born and grew up the same way as anyone else did. They deserve to have a kid and watch them grow right in front of their eyes as much as everyone else does. I think it's messed up that they can't experience the same types of joy that we can in some places of the world. Gay people are people too. They think like we do and look like we do. How does that make them different than us?

Another thing I thought of is that the two gay parents probably had to grow up living difficult lives. The way they grew up probably made them stronger and also happier to be who they are. They would probably have their kid grow up to know how to be strong, and if someone was making fun of that kid for having gay parents, that kid wouldn't overreact or anything like that because they grew up learning about how it's their problem if they don't accept it. This paragraph was probably hard for you to read, and if you don't exactly understand it, I don't blame you. Maybe you can sort of figure out what I'm trying to say...

Anyway, I think it should be legal for two people who are gay to have the choice to adopt a child. 

YES.

Same-sex couples should DEFINITELY be allowed to adopt, and I honestly can't wait for the day when it would be considered obscene to even ask such a question xD.

Would it affect gender roles? Yes. In a positive way? YES.

Why positively? It tells us that both men and women can do anything they want .
