I stumbled across this website while trying to get some info about my old v coleco emulator, looked around and loved what I saw.
My first video game was pong (played on an old B&W tv in the late 70's, as a kid I had (still have) Atari 2600, Colecovision & Adam computer, Atari 5200 & 7800, NES, Turbografix 16, Super NES, genesis, Neo geo, 3D0, PS1 & 2.. I don't have enough Tv's in my house for all my games, LOL.

I look forward to meeting new people and playing games around here.

Another geezer sweet.  Not meant to be insulting in anyway guy there are lots of youngns around here and anybody over 20 is just so old it is amazing we can use computers.  I'm 33 btw and colecovision was the first system I fell in love with and it is cool to have another colecovision fan here.  Welcome and like others said it would be nice to have you around the boards.

Yeah I have seen all the Bayformers movies. I am a huge G1 fan and watch the original TFTM from 86 all the time. My 10 year old daughter loves watching it with me too.

Hey there you truly are a retro gamer if the first game you ever owned was pong, Though considering at the time the amount of pong consoles were through the roof at the time.. Back before there was a 2-3 console war like there is today. 

Nice to meet a parent on here as well, There not a very common occurrence here on the board, As most of the users are roughly around the age of 13-16 so the chances of them having kids is pretty slim

There are some good games on here to stoke your memories and it's fun to play them.  You'll find out a massive percentage of people on here are kids under 18 and that's okay.  80% of the forums are dedicated to Pokemon and simple questions like "Do you enjoy string cheese?" and things like that.  A few discussions are sports and the rest can be interesting.  I spend time playing the games and no so much with the forums.  I just don't have time for chatting.

It's nice to have another mature person in here.  I hope you enjoy what you find and you have some fun with it.  The available games are impressive and they add more when they can.

I have to say that my first impression after reading your intro was: WOW!  A 23 year old and a 9 year old?  I always thought my siblings and I were rather aged apart (9 years).  haha! How does it feel to have another young daughter?  

Another thing that wow'd me was that you still have all those  (functioning?) systems! I bet some of them are worth quite a bit of cash!

Just out of curiosity, did you ever play Amiga games? I think those were probably the first I ever played, depending on whether that came out first, or the SNES.
