The dog is ok now this can be closed.

Ok so my family's dog Hailey is at the vet right now with my mom and dad. This happened when my dad was outside and yelled for my mom. The dog was shaking and dragging its left hind leg (back leg for those that don't know). When me and my brother went go see what caused it we found a hole she dug with grass over it.





So 5 minutes ago we got a call from my parents saying that she either twisted or broke her hip. If she has to do surgery she might not make it because she has heart murmurs.





My brother Hunter (my real name is Chris I just use the same username a lot) needs some words of encouragement because I think hes really sad and depressed. There isn't much I could do because I don't like dogs and never wanted it in the first place also with me being really honest to the point where its a downside of me I cant help.





I will update this when more comes up.

I'm sorry, dude. We lost our dog recently, and got another one that has been great, but trying. We still remember and honor Giggles (our previous dog). I hope to see her again someday. My God help you through all this and bless your family and dog.

Ok update.

They did an x ray of her knee and it isn't broken or dislocated. Now they are going to do an x ray below her knee all the way to her paw. They think its just nerve damage (like if your foot falls asleep) and might give her medicine. She might stay there or come home.

supernerd117 : No there isn't much you can do because the big scare is over and my brother is calm now.

My family lost our boxer Kila in March of this year during surgery. I glad that it turned out to be nothing wrong with the dog. These kind of scenarios hit close to home.

Yay! I'm glad your dog's OK. It can be really hard to lose a pet, if you aren't prepared. The aftermath can be very lonely. I hope this event will prepare you for the future. I believe that pets life forever, even after they die. So whatever separation you and your pet will have when it dies might just well be temporary.

I miss our pets that have passed or have been lost so much. I have many regrets, as I wished I had played with them more, given them more love and attention. Don't store up those same regrets like me. Spend time with your pets now, so you won't regret your actions later.

supernerd117 : Its not my dog its my family's dog because I don't like it and never wanted it to begin with. I never petted it and never will cause I hate dogs. I'm a strong cat person and love my cat to literal death going as far as kill someone (or myself) for his safety or revenge. My brother on the other hand loves her and I just needed some kind words spoken to him because I cant do it because I speak the truth going as far as telling him his dog might have literally dug her own grave. Also yes I know I'm an a**h*** and have know that and embrace my rock hard personality.
