So, my kitchen caught fire. I woke up randomly at about 11 AM and about a minute after I woke up, I heard something like a glass falling and shattering. At first, I thought I was going to hear somebody complaining, but I heard nothing else and then I noticed that the sound then went on like fireworks, like when you hear the explosion and then the sizzle of the sparks falling.

I stayed in my bed for another minute until I heard the sound again and this time I walked into the kitchen. I saw that the entire floor of the kitchen, hallway, and dining room were completely covered in hundreds of tiny egg pieces and shells, all of which were black. Small pieces of the window were shattered, the garbage cans were lying on the floor, and pots and pans were turned over.

So at this point I could smell a ton of smoke and saw that the stove was on. I reached over and turned it off and then backed out of the kitchen and went back to my room. A few minutes later, the fire alarm went off. I went back to see that the inside of the pot was on fire and that the fire went up and started to burn the cabinets.

Once the alarm went off, family from upstairs were already coming down so they were able to put it out after shutting off the power. About 10 minutes later my parents came back home and were like what the heck happened?

All I know that they turned the stove on to cook the eggs before they left almost 2 hours before and that eggs are very dangerous.

That's a pretty creepy story, have you cleaned the house with all those egg shell parts on the floor? You're lucky that you were able to put out the fire.

juuldude : No, I didn't clean them. Right after everythign happened, I went and took a shower and when I came back out, everyone else was done with cleaning all the shells and egg pieces. On the bright side, I get to be the one who repairs all of the windows, so I guess that's going to be a bit of fun.

Who did the cleaning then? Maybe you could replace the windows with those mirrors that make you look different

Wait, so your kitchen caught fire AND you had to deal with exploding eggs? Bad luck, man. (I actually thought you were making a review for a Yoshi game at first...)
