Hello folks, hello Vizzed. Well, that day has come: Laian is back to business. Yeah, the only one. The French guy, walkthrough writer since two years (something like that). And I'm back from my vacations. Well actually, I came back from my "journey" yesterday in the evening but I was so tired that I went to bed as soon as possible. So I'm going to take the time to summarize these vacations in just a few words. First things first, I have a question to ask you:

Did you really miss me?

W
ell, I can tell that two weeks without internet is a thing. I could play some games and some roleplay with my brother. But, without you, my second family, my friends... It was an obstacle to overcome, like a giant wall between you and me. I wanted to tell you something:

I missed you.

Every single year, I go there, to this lovely place, in order to take a break. My real life is completely different, compared to my Vizzed life. So, it's going to be a habit, just letting you know (unless these vacations are not planned but it's rare). So I guess it's time to tell you that long "journey", or some highlights. Yeah, let's go with some highlights.

So where to start...

With this, I guess.

It's what you can see there. Keep in mind it's not where the second home is. No, this photograph has been taken with my cellphone at Châteauneuf de Randon. With my family, we spent an afternoon there. There was a competition and a carnival there, that day when I took the photograph. I was not interested in the competition, nor my little brother. So we went to the carnival and we played one of these games. We won some goodies and we decided to visit the town. We went at the top of a hill, where the highest tower of an old castle was (there are the ruins of a remaining tower there though that I didn't take a photograph, my bad), I took that photograph and we did sit down and talked. It'll be one of the most memorable moments I had during this "journey".

The next photographs you will see are my new "treasures". Compared to the last photograph, it's meh. I mean, the frame and the motion blur. Sorry, I was a bit hasty. So yeah, enjoy anyways

Here we are some videogames for my collection:

Then something that I really wanted to buy when I saw it in the store:

And finally, something that I want you to find out on your own. One of the things I like to do from time to time.

Well, there's more stuff I could say but it would take a while to tell you all the things. Two weeks,? seriously... do you really want two weeks of vacations told by your host Laian, hmm? Well, deal with that

So yeah, I'm back, my vacations were good (too bad the weather was on one hand sunny and on another hand cloudy, even worse) but hey, I'm alive. Though, I'm back so I'll have lot of work to do, in the server and here in the website (great... xD ). Time to restart the machine!

Ah, I almost forgot...

'Did you really miss me? '

Of course, we just became friends and you had to go away
But I see you had a lot of fun, when I am on vacation I can really enjoy myself but I also like to talk with the people here, at some point I started to miss that as well.

First of all, I love the pictures! It's cool that you have bought the first Inazuma Eleven game, I have never played that one but it's the one that started it all! And that view is amazing, you were lucky to have your cellphone with you at that moment.

That dollar and the card also look interesting. And is that last card with all the numbers something for a magic trick?

Sounds like you had a great time, I've never been to France and from what I hear here Paris is great but the rest isn't so much but I doubt that. I hope that your refreshed mind will help you continue with your work here

Bonne chance, mon ami!

First things first, welcome back. You're essential to Vizzed, and we're all glad that you're back. Two years sounds about right. I remember when I was applying for staff when I was still new, wanting to be a Walkthrough Maker like yourself. Of course I ended up becoming a Gameplay Recorder instead, but you did give me a couple of pointers that I appreciated (even though there's a possibility that I might've forgot them).

Nevertheless, you sound like you had fun on your journey. While Internet is fun, there's nothing like taking a break from it for two weeks to have some fun with your family and relax (well I wouldn't be able to do it, so it's good that you can).

As for your journey, the description alone is enough for me to be intrigued by your trip, but the pictures really add to it. That's a nice group of games there (and I look forward to the secrets and walkthroughs you will provide us with for those games). I'm not sure what the last picture is though, but the one before it with the US dollar cover is pretty cool. Imagine if you handed that to someone and they really thought it was a US dollar. That would be pretty funny.

I'm glad you enjoyed your vacation and welcome back, Laian.

It is, lil' sis'. That's why I like to go there from time to time when I can. It reminds me of Skyrim when I see such a beautiful scenery. It gives some inspiration. There, townfolks can tell lot of stories. One of the most famous stories is "The beast of Gévaudan".  I wish I could take more photographs there but my cellphone doesn't have a decent zoom and the weather was 50/50. I'm glad you like the scenery and I can't wait to talk to you as always

juuldude :
Must... not... take... "The Judge". Must... not... Too late *grabs "The Judge" and goes berserk* Ok, who dares to say Paris is the only beauty in France? Show him this photograph, please! And if that person doesn't change its mind, I'll do it xP

On a serious note, Paris is beautiful but France is not just Paris, or Disneyland Paris. It's like any other country. There's more to explore, to visit. I can tell you're open-minded, compared to these "blind" people. And I like that. I mean it, seriously. Also, I've never played the first game, I wanted to give it a shot. And add it to my collection, since I have Inazuma Eleven 2: Firestorm. As for the card with numbers, you're right. It's a magic trick called "Telepathy". I like magic tricks and I like this one. Sadly, I can only do it with someone who can really cooperate with me. The result is surprising when it's perfectly performed, I can tell

megamanmaniac :
I remember that time indeed. I'm glad to be a part of the community and the inspiration of some people.

I'd like to make the walkthroughs of these games but, unless I find a way to run the PS2 emulator correctly or find a way to take some screenshots from my system and TV, "The Bouncer" and "Jak and Daxter" will have to wait for a while. Although, the two other games...

As for the playing cards, I honestly can't imagine some Texas Hold'em with these cards. But that trick might work, who knows

Laian : Haha, thank you It would be funny to see how they would react if a French dude would come up to them and tell them about how nice France is

Well, that's very cool What did make you pick Firestorm over Blizzard by the way? There are little differences but I'm interested. I played Blizzard as I like ice moves, characters and teams more. And that trick sounds very interesting, I can't see what the result would be but it sounds like a great thing :O

That's an interesting question. I had no choice when I bought the game actually. I went to a yard sale a while ago. Besides helping my friend out with his stuff, I looked around and found some DS games on sale. 5 euros each DS game. Among the games the young boy had, there was Inazuma Eleven 2: Firestorm. As I tried this game before, I knew how it looked and I told you I liked the gameplay so I did go ahead and, for a cheap price I bought this one and Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Darkness. Sadly, there was only this game, no Inazuma Eleven 2: Blizzard. Either I bought Firestorm or I did wait until I could find Blizzard. Honestly, it didn't really matter to me. And just a fun fact: I found during my vacations Inazuma Eleven 2: Blizzard in a videogame store. I didn't buy it, judging it would be silly to have this game as well just for some slight differences and get Gazelle instead of Torch. I didn't feel like replaying the game once more (yay for my laziness ). Though, there is another way to get Gazelle. I must find a cooperative person who has Blizzard and who is willing to trade Gazelle with another excellent soccer player

thing1 :
I'm not going to lie to you. I wouldn't say I did drive on the road, since I can't, but I moved the car in the courtyard of the second home twice. I remember my godmother saying "You did drive well, Alain". And I remember I said: "And you see? I didn't have my driving license". I could have gotten that piece of paper. I should have gotten that piece of paper...

Laian : What a coincidence, I have Blizzard and Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time :O
It's not worth the buy as it's like Pokémon, 95% is the same, only a different team with different players. I bought both as I have a DSI and a 2DS so I thought it would be cool to play against my brother, and it was worth the money, sometimes we play together
Gazelle and Torch are incredibly hard to get and since they are the only two players who can learn Fire Blizzard they are very special to have.

I don't think I spent 3 years of my existence, trying to get that license so badly. I'll say a year and half, maybe two. I was already registered to Vizzed way before undertaking that quest for the driving license. Plus, I got my first driving lesson a long time after my registration to the driving school. Then, I'm now forced to switch to another driving school. Reason: something about a time limit expired. Yes, my last driving school was slightly different. Though, the other driving schools are expensive (excessive, rather) and I decided to focus more on work, especially if it's the same score at the end. I know you're going to say "hey dude, you need the car to work!". Not really. I know some people who are willing to offer me their hospitality so I can get close to any possible work. I don't have my driving license but I still have relationships. Eventually, I'll get it. But, for now, I prefer carrying on another plan.

juuldude :
Yeah, a funny coincidence

Honestly, I prefer playing a game with a friend or a member of my family. I'm not really a fan of multiplayer games otherwise. I don't play a game in order to become insane. I look for entertainment and challenge first of all. And lately, I haven't been disappointed.

Incredibly hard... It's exactly what I say when I try to get the S-rank for the exhibition match against Zeus Jr. High School. I think I'll be ready for this if I manage to get that achievement

Haha

I like single player games but it's funny to play games like Mario and Inazuma Eleven against my brother or sister, I really like that New Super Mario Bros has a multiplayer mode that you can use with just one version of the game.

Oh man that was so incredibly hard to do. The reward was good though. Just wait until you're up against Diamond Dust/ Prominence or Chaos (well, Chaos can be only done if you connect with somebody who has Blizzard and has completed the game as well)

I missed seeing you too.

Your absence really sank in when I was posting those Minecraft results on the 6th.

But it looks like you did have a chance to relax, and it's great to have you back!

Welcome baco my friend! It's so good to hear you didn't die of internet withdrawal xD The view really is something. It's been ages since I've viewed a scenery like that. We missed you and the minecraft server was feeling empty without you. There's a genodry safehouse competition this month for the server by the way. Feeling up to the challenge?

So there's more... hmm, interesting. I didn't know about that. I was only aware of the existence of Diamond Dust and Prominence. Another dream team on the list means more fun, woohoo

EideticMemory :
And I can't imagine the reaction when you made the Hall of Fame. That Hall of Fame I'll visit once I'll be back to the server

Darkpower508 :
I'll pass for that competition. I have my reasons. It's not only because I'm not really a fan of Genrody but, once I'm back to the server, there will be lot of things to do for me. I haven't finished the research facility for my roleplay adventure that I thought about the sequel so I must write this down somewhere (over the rainbow? Nah xD ). Oh, and more puzzles for the building in Megod. I'll be kinda busy to take part to this contest. And I don't think I can do something as decent as your safehouse (or better ) The next contest, eventually I'll compete for

I am a bit late to post here but when I saw a picture of an Inazuma Eleven game. I couldn't stop myself.

I'm glad that you had a great journey. Seeing that picture makes me to go there as well once, really a beautiful view! ~

I find it pretty awesome that you bought Inazuma Eleven for your DS. It's not much known (in the USA), and I like to see more fans of it. The game is really good, it looks like the Inazuma Eleven Anime. If you need any tips or tricks to beat the game or how to get S rank easy. Feel free to ask me. I am kind of an Inazuma Eleven expert + I own much of the games. ~

It was. But I wish I could take more pictures. If only the weather was more cooperative with me during my vacation ha ha

TornadoMudkip :
Thanks. I really appreciate you did stop by this thread. And thanks for the eventual help but you might know how I am: as a walkthrough writer, I like to try and retry so hard, over and over again, and be frustrated. But a lost battle makes you stronger, that's what I like to hear and say
