This is just a thread I decided to make on what it would be like if Bomberman was in the new Smash Bros for the Wii U AND 3DS.
(This is one of those posts where you just talk about, whatever! I got bored XD So yeah.)

I want this guy in Smash 4

I have already mention to a few people on how bomberman should be in the new smash. I also want him to be in a new bomberman game but yknow they most likely will not make one.
 
His final smash would be to get the kick ability so when he lays down bombs he could just kick them across the stage to the opponent having them explode on contact. 
 
I just thought of that randomly.

Move set isn't that hard if you think of Bomberman 64 The Second Attack.
Special Up: Wind Bomb sends him flying up and others flying sideways.
Side Special: Kicks a regular bomb side ways. Flies sideways until it hits something or goes off the edge.
Special: Lays down a bomb. Press again to make it explode.
Down Special: Triggers a pumped up Ice Bomb that explodes immediately.
Final Smash: A Pumped up Dark Hole Bomb appears and sucks in anything too near, dealing massive damage.
The regular stuff is regular punches and kicks. They are very weak, though and not reliable.
Up Smash: Lightning Bomb shoots directly above
Down Smash: Earth Bomb covers directly on both sides of Bomberman
Side Smash: Throws a pumped up regular bomb a short distance.
EDIT: Basically Bomberman is basically better from a distance than upclose and personal.
As for costumes, those shouldn't be too hard. I'm pretty sure there are multiple Bombermen, after all.

Bomberman really should be in smash. He represents a classic hero perfectly and wouldn't have a problem blowing Mario up at all.
But Sakurai knows what he's doing so I will just wait and see what he decided to do for the game as a whole.
He is a game design master after all and if anybody says that the game sucks because they don't have ONE character in the game,
Then Bomberman can shove a black hole bomb in the mouth. > : D

I would too, but it would be awesome to get some other characters in as well.

That would be pretty awesome. I'd like to think about Bomberman's moves when I come back, I actually like a lot of what Gamin'Gal put down.

I'm not such a gamer that I ever thought about what characters could possibly be in a Smash game.... so this thread was pretty awesome, in my opinion.  I actually played one of the Bomberman games for the N64 quite a bit as a child, so it was actually a character I knew as well!  

I think Gamin' Gal hit it on the head perfectly though.  I'm not familiar with all those moves, but her description was perfect.  I also like the idea about being able to kick bombs across the stage.

Bomberman is awesome.  I could actually see this. He's been on Nintendo consoles for quite a while, and he has the glove and the kick ability... yeah, this could work!

I would like to see Bomberman appear once again! I think he would kick some butt in Super Smash Brothers. I would totally agree with Gamin' Gal as well especially when she got it on point and explained it so thoroughly.

deathding : If he was in smash, I would play as him and test his skills. He will have amazing bomb attacks! I don't know much about him, but I remember playing one of the games and he will pick amazing items :3

I would love to have bomberman in smash bros. But since I believe SSB4 is the last smash bros. But think about it, he would be a perfect fighter, would he be a replacement of yoshi for me? No. But I would still play him more then most.

I personally think Bomberman should of been in the games at the beginning. Although now would be a perfect time for him to be in the newer games. For one, he's not being used hardly anymore. Maybe him being in Smash could revive him, and whoever owns the rights could release a new game. That is what I want to see, because Bomberman is badass.
