What game are you referring to within what system? Did you swap computers?  What button were you using and have you used it for any other reason?  (For example, if you used the spacebar as your speedup button, have you checked in Word or by posting, to be sure that key is working on your keyboard?)

It's a little difficult to help without having more information.

I think you used Mednafen instead of the Default Emulator. The Mednafen Emulator is on the right side of the page. The Default one is on the left side of the game page. I think you clicked the Mednafen one for some time. It's new that Mednafen shows up on the game page. Mednafen doesn't support speed up, if you want to speed up your games then you should use the Default one. Also some systems like SNES, NES and N64 don't support speed up. Have you been playing these games lately?

I'm not sure how I went so long without learning that.  Do you happen to know if that's the problem when people say that their speedup is stuck 'on'?  That seems to be a common problem as well.

Local Mods : Summon fail. Something else I've noticed with the speed button is that sometimes having a controller with USB connected can mess it up sometimes as well, just a heads up.
