thing1 : I think I'm going to put my focus on a different Jersey, the Yellow Jersey is just too time consuming to earn points for. I'd have to invest too much time making big posts which means I'd be putting aside all of my high priority work which isn't something I should be doing. It's too bad because the Yellow Jersey is the only Jersey I have a shot at becoming the leader in. Maybe my new focus will be to just stay in the top 3.

It's kinda amazing that I'm only one Red jersey away from grabbing the lead from tRIUNE. Then he'll have no jerseys left That is, if he doesn't qualify today.

pacman1755 : Your tactic is probably one of the smartest tactics. Most users come into the TdV trying to grab as many Jerseys as possible or even come in trying to grab the Rainbow Banner. If you join the competition late, it's very unlikely you'll be able to grab the Rainbow Banner or more than 1 Jersey so the best way to come out of the TdV with something is to put all your focus on a single Jersey, which you have done and have done well. You pretty much came out of nowhere and will be grabbing the overall Red in no time.

I thought tRIUNE was going to keep placing in the red and green jerseys every day of this month, but I was wrong! pacman is about to take the red jersey from him and kramer has had the overall green jersey lead for a while. thing1 will bump tRIUNE into 5th place and pacman will bump him into 6th place if he keeps getting points in the red and green jerseys.

thing1 : Congratulations on getting into the top 5 at last! You're 5 points away from being in the top 3! You're going to have to do a lot to remain in the top 3 because kramer is in it.

Heck, I'm just sittin' back and watchin' the fun! I've almost doubled my total post count in the last couple of weeks, and I haven't even made a dent It seems like when you get to at least the top 5, you have to do a whole lot just to stay there.

Davideo7 : Except me I thought he was just going to stay in the top 3. I think he stopped being the CP machine he usually is because he wants more people to be able to place in the red and green jerseys or he got busier. He was inactive for 3 days straight.

PacmanandMariofan : I know. If this keeps up, and tgags does not compete, I think me and kramer will end up fighting for the rainbow, if tgags lets it get to that.

Davideo7 : I agree with you. The way this TdV is set up, you either have to pick if you are going to go the posting route, or the CP route, so it really does make for interesting strategies. As you can see, I decided to go the posting route,a nd so far, it has worked out for me. Now, I just need to jack the overall blue from tgags, and I will be happy. :3

Davideo7 : That's most likely what has been happening because he was placing in the red and green jerseys every day at the beginning of this TdV even though he wasn't competing and there were people that were competing that wanted those jerseys.

Davideo7 : actually, I pretty much asked sop if I could have the blue, if he was willing to settle for 2nd, that way we could still get the points for team competition. And then cnw said she wasn't competing... just felt like posting for a change. Only reason I haven't built my lead is because I am being lazy today. Probably 80% of my posts from today are from responded to notifications, or looking at threads people wanted me to look at. 

Besides... competition in the blue? When I go for it? Please!

thing1 : I'm sure tgags will put up a fight once you get near him in the overall Blue competition. I'm sure he wants to walk away from this Tour de Vizzed with at least 1 overall Jersey.

Davideo7 : And you had to go and take the Yellow again. You are making it really hard for me to try to get past kramer, you know that, right? 

Granted, this one was my fault. I was playing Gears 3 with some boosting partners, and wasn't paying attention when you took the lead with 17 minutes left. 

UGH!!! I need to get closer to first. 

Somehow, I managed to beat kramer enough to get the green for tonight. It seems that I can only win if she does her actions early, or if she goes to sleep early.

Either way, I win double the jerseys. And the red lead. Woo~

thing1 : You still lead the Yellow Jersey competition. This will probably be one of the last times I take the Yellow Jersey for a while so take advantage of that.
