It's actually quite fair. The people who earn jerseys for the red and green are people who really focus on their work instead of posting too much during the month. You notice that those same people earning points are nowhere to be found in the blue and yellow jerseys. Most of them probably weren't even competing. It means that those who are competing and who want to score some points in the green jersey, needs to outwork what the staff are doing. They are just focused on their own roles most of the time, because it's that much work. If you are someone who is thinking about winning the overall jersey, you need to strategize which jersey do you focus your energy on. Balance it out or go all out on one jersey. Are you going to divide your time in post and earning CP, or are you just focusing on earning CP or posting. That's what makes this more competitive compared to before.

Davideo7 : Dat Green Jersey though. So hard to break through. I don't have the computer power (currently on old computer), the energy, or time in a day to get close to that. Just getting top 5 in that jersey would be an incredible feat.

thing1 : For the next TdV, I can consider making it so that only non-staff actions count for the Green Jersey.

Barathemos : Actually, a lot of the users getting points for the Green Jersey have done so with non-staff actions. For example, a lot of Kramer's points have gone toward 'Moving Ebay Listing' which is a non-staff action. She also has a lot of points toward 'Content Adding' but non-staff can also add content and they earn their CP in the 'Game Content Request' action. There also have been staff members who have earned a lot of their points doing a combination of post rating, screenshot rating and review rating. The only staff actions which staff can get a lot of points on that others can't are Graphic Adding, Screenshot Editing, Thread Action, User Request Review and Video Edit and the only 1 of those actions that any of the staff members have been doing is User Request Review (based on what I've seen anyway).

play4fun : Yeah the Tour de Vizzed does require a lot of strategy. You can't really go into it without a plan and expect to win it all. The Green Jersey is definitely the boringest Jersey to earn points for since it requires you to do a lot of repetitious and usually boring actions.

Davideo7 : actually the staff who approve the game content that we request take a good while so if we are going for green jersey, they don't accept it in time. And non staff members can't find the eBay listings pages.

Barathemos : I could be wrong but I think tRIUNE handles it and he probably gets to it multiple times a week. I'm assuming the content doesn't take than a week to get approved.

Davideo7 : for me, it's taken about 2 days-2 weeks to get approved.

Barathemos : Well I'll try and make it a habit of checking those once a week until the Tour de Vizzed ends

It's pretty interesting that I'm now at the top 10 in the point system for only doing my job

Now I'm starting to get the idea I might be able to get in the top 5 if I keep going like this.

pacman1755 : Wow, you've been a beast lately. You also have earned the most CP in the past 7 days with 2736.5 CP. 2nd highest is kramer4077 at 1783.6 CP and me at 1137.2 CP so that gives you an idea as to just how dominate you've been at earning CP lately.

Davideo7 : hey, is there a way that I don't get points for tomorrow in the tdv for blue? I think I posted here a little too much, and I didn't intend on placing, so will I get DQ'd or can I just have it so I don't qualify so I can compete later?
If there was more activity I wouldn't be in this spot

Barathemos : Some of us can try to push up in the rankings so that you won't be DQ'd when you are not competing.

Today's double CP action is Game Commenting.

It's still hard to earn points, even this late into the competition.

It sure is hard to earn points, I tried really hard yesterday but thing1 and Fireproof have passed me while I was sleeping anyways

I'm still in the team competition though so this has helped my team some points at least

I'm also glad to see that I'm back on the graph, even though I'm the lowest

You did? XD I can not imagine the owner having trouble to win this competition, you're doing very good just because you do your job I like the graphs a lot, how did you make them?

juuldude : All the man has to do is post a bunch of news, actually reply to his notifications. He would pretty much be guaranteed to win this whole thing. 

And as long as 3 or 4 people don't decide to get crazy today, I should finally hit the Top 5 overall, which has been my goal. And... if I outdo David * cough * in yellow, and tgags * cough * doesn't place in Yellow at all, I can take the overall lead for that today, too.

thing1 : That's not true at all actually. I can place in the top 5 or top 10 just by doing my job but there's no way I could place in the top 3 let alone get 1st place just by doing my job, it requires a ship load of extra effort, believe me, I've been trying lol.

Davideo7 : I love how you were trying to sneak up on me in the yellow a few hours ago. Why did you start to back off? 

I hope you know that the yellow is mine for today. As long as I outplace you, and get at least 4th in it, and tgags123 does not score in yellow period ( which it does not look like he will ), I will become the new overall leader for the yellow jersey for the month. 

And I just thought about this, too: every time I actually go for yellow, I end up getting 2nd in it, but still winning the blue jersey. I swear, that better not happen again today. 

So if I keep going to the pace that I'm at, I'm going to be breathing down thing's and kramer's neck in the top 5, since I'm 1st in Red for the past 6 days or so, and 1st/2nd in green. 9 points guaranteed little past half way in the competition. That's interesting.
