Yup, XMedia Recode is the best for me.
I did a little experiment.
I recorded a video from Donkey Kong (GameBoy) and file size is 630 MB.
I used XMedia Recode (75% quality ('cause i have slow internet & bad PC :/ ))

How I calculated 75% quality? It's easy:
First you must know your bitrate (ex. MOV Video Bitrate = 7 852 Kbps (Variable Bitrate) (File size = 630 MB. ))
Now It's time for math:
7852 * 0.75 (75%) = 5,889 Kbps

Videos in MOV format using the best codec to a very large size!!!
Or do something like this:
7852 / 2 = 3,926 Kbps
7852 / 10 = 785,2 Kbps

XMedia Recode also have Quality Setting (from 0 to 51?), Quantizer (best values: 18-20), 2 Pass - Avarage Bitrate.
