Well in the past 10 day hiatus a lot happened, lots of new news (redundance is redundant). Now we don't have much info on the next official Zelda game, apparently has to do something with technology and Link's magic ponytail, but we are just getting blown up with the basis of Hyrule Warriors. This game probably isn't official, and by that I mean it's a spin-offy game and won't be in the official timeline. I was pretty skeptical about it at first, if we already have Dynasty Warriors why does it need a Zelda skin? Well one, WII-U GRAPHICS ZOMG!!! Second, the gameplay has a few different styles, by that I mean ways you can attack. So basically in dynasty warriors you just get crowded by dozens of enemies who don't do anything and you kill them all in a hurricane of death. Every now and then there's a bigger threat that takes more work to defeat. On the mini-map you can see how many battles are taking place in the area and which factions need your help the most. There are many characters who each have different move-sets and ways of fighting. Now with all the items used in the Zelda series can be used as weapons, meaning the fighters of the game are different from those of the source material... I think? Third, and probably the biggest reason, this game is freaking Sonic Generations but with Nintendo! Now we all knew Link was, of course, our first option of offense. Later we found out that you could also play as an Impa similar to Skyward Sword. Yes, she's AN Impa, theres like 10 of her. At E3 we got 2 new characters. We also saw different enemies of different eras. At first all we saw were bokoblins from Skyward Sword, we did see a dodongo like in Majora's Mask but considering there wasn't a dodongo in Skyward to begin with we didn't think much of it. But in the E3 trailer we see stalchild's from Ocarina of Time, bulblins from Twilight Princess, and settings in different games including forests, fields, and the twilight realm. And then the show-stoppers, two more characters. Zelda is playable herself and uses different bows and a... hookshot? Do you realize how big of news this is? You know the last time Zelda was a playable character? You don't, the FBI erased the game from existence. And then every Zelda fan-person blew up... MIDNA WAS BACK. MIDNA! She was riding a twilight wolf and she looked like normal again and didn't look like that thing!

She was using dark magic and slapping everyone with her arm ponytail and it was AWESOME. And the best part isn't even Midna. If there's gonna be as many characters as in the real Dynasty Warriors imagine all the possibilities! We can have different forms of Link like in Majora's Mask,
heck we could have Groose roll up to the party with a juggernaut cannon for all I care!!! Either way this game made me realize, dang I need a Wii-U ._.
So how are you guys looking forward to the coming years of Zelda? Is it gonna be awesome? Is it gonna fail? I definitely love it considering all the effort in this thing!

If the game is as simple as being surrounded by weak enemies that do nothing, and killing them all with awesome looking attacks and that's it.

Then no.

I am so psyched for this game, even thoguh I don't own a Wii U! In fact, this game, Windwaker HD, and Shard of Nightmare are what has made me decide I need one. So now I'm saving up for one, but it'll take me ages...

Ever since you got to sort of control Zelda in Spirit Tracks, I've really wanted to play as her, and now we get Zelda AND Impa AND Midna... it's almost too good to be true. The only thing that could be better is if the Seven Sages are playable (I wonder what Saria would do?). And I absolutely LOL'd at the Hyrule Warriors trailer when Zelda pulled the hookshot out of the chest and did the classic "got item" pose. On top of that, the graphics look beautiful. I saw them and I was like, "Darn. I've never seen such stunning anime graphics like that." Well, except for Final Fantasy, but... that's Final Fantasy.

But as Sword Legion said before me, I sure hope the enemies won't be extremely weak and do nothing. That's not exactly fun, regardless of how cool the attacks are.

I am definitely looking forward to this game even though I eventually get bored of Dynasty warriors game play. Since its with Zelda characters this time I see myself playing it for longer periods of time. When I saw the first trailer of this game I though that it wasn't going to be 2 player co-op at first because they have only shown Link in it during 1 player mode. Now there are more trailers out and it displaycharacters like zelda, Impa and Midna. I am very hyped to play as Midna I like her character very much. She is way better than Navi in my opinion she actually tries s to help you in Twilight Princess. I'm looking forward to buying this game on day one just so I can play it with my crazy Zelda fan friends.

I may actually get this game, for one reason-

Two player mode.

No matter how much your allies suck, if i can play as a commanding officer and fight a human commanding officer, then it has to be fun.

But this could turn out pretty well if there is a way to make the enemies act decently smart and actually attack, and they don't die in 1 hit. I heard that there are games like this where you can actually up the AI, or difficulty and the enemies are pretty decent.
