Also, until now you haven't been so much of a lurker you know Did you get here for the old school games, or are you more interested in the forums? Also, what kind of games do you play? Welcome! I just turned into a normal member today but made my own introduction not too long ago. You're going to make a good user, and what an interesting name indeed. Oh, and hear this: Your intro has the same title as mine! ^.^ And I'm a girl, not a boy. Don't let my layout confuse you, that's my brother, Alex. He is also half Ditto, half Pikachu like me. As you guys might guess, I'm not always a man of words(or rather sometimes I spew them out en-masse but other times it has to be dragged out with pliers).

I got my name from Code Geass before it got well known, after that I had another case of "dammit my name got common yet again". Generally I'm not very good at making up original names, I've tried for a while, even today I wanted to get a new gamertag on xbox live and someone already had the exact same for quite a while, so that wasn't too original either. I like anime and also read manga, my list is quite long so I won't indulge too much on that, but it ranges from popular ones like Naruto and Dragonball Z to really obscure ones like TTGL.

Originally I was dragged here by force by our dear moderator Frodlex, but I saw the nice collection of games and the forums so I decided to check it out a bit closer.

I had a GameBoy Advance as my first source of video games, so that should narrow down a bit the kind of games I played for a long time. I see I'm not the only Pokemon fan on the forum, but gotta say, I'm one of those old pops who swear on the original 151. Gen 3 was my first game(technically it was a Yellow, but I didn't have a GameBoy to play it on properly), that was still fine, but gen 4 was pushing it for me. I haven't bought Black/White. My other favorites that come from the GBA era are Golden Sun(best rpg ever imo), MegaMan Zero and the myriad of Metroidvania style games(including Metroid and Castlevania of course). Also a big Final Fantasy fan, I played all of them so far besides X and the MMOs. I completed I, II and XIII-1-2(damn those games are long).

Nowadays I mostly play fighting games, both old-school(Street Fighter and the like) and new-school(Guilty Gear, Blazblue, etc), but mostly new-school. It's just faster for me. I really like games that reward player experience instead of time put in the game(eg. the in-game character might be loaded with endgame gear, but an experienced player is just as good with using a starter character) like Monster Hunter and Dark Souls. I can easily put hundreds of hours into those kind of games. I really don't like sports games, except snowboarding ones, even those only because I don't get to go snowboarding very often. I find most MMOs pointless and don't really play FPS games either. Due to my lack of experience my aim is kind of horrible as well.

I guess that's a lot of information at once, if you have any questions, I'm glad to answer.

PS : This forum interface is just awesome. I get really lost when I get so much control over how my stuff looks, so it's possible I'll sit in front of GIMP for hours.

I met him on Xbox Live while playing Blazblue. I taught him how to play.

Yeah I am. There weren't many people playing at the time, so he might be still a noob if I didn't teach him the basics.

juuldude : Closer to he "was" my mentor, while there is still plenty for us to learn from one another I'm not exactly at the point where I don't pose a major threat to him, one wrong move on either of our parts and it could mean match really. That being said it doesn't matter too much either way because we are both amateurish nooblets in all honestly, I mean we'll alright I suppose but far from pro.

Well, quite a few people were playing only at the time, sometimes I had to wait 30 minutes to get 1 match in, lucky I had my computer next to my xbox.

How do you get huge pics on the messages?

Immobile, those are post layouts, you can make half baked ones normally or you can become a Trusted member and make your own custom ones, however if these are both unavailable to you or you would prefer someone with more experience to do so you can have someone make a custom layout for you by request or as a favor. I personally tend to stay away from layouts but I could probably make you one pretty easily.

Also, yeah, it's more like I "was" his mentor. Nowadays we just beat each other the best we can. In Blazblue I'm currently better, but it really shifts back-and-forth depending on who put if more effort at getting better at their character, or who's generally in a worse mood.
