Orion.

He was one of the better bosses in Bomberman 64, and characterized fairly well for having only one line of Text maybe. When people think of Bomberman 64, and their favorite, or most remembered character, they think of Regulas. And why shouldn't they? He's the Shadow of Bomberman basically, and he even reappears in the next game- as and Astral Knight! (though he looks nothing like one).

But Orion, he was worth remembering too.

He used an unconventional, and arguably better strategy of giving Bomberman a hot bath to beat him.

He apparently can bore through rock.

He's had a failsafe device of some sort that allowed him to blast off when he realized that he was losing- a better strategy than Artemis's "fight tot the death" mentality, or overconfidence

He re purposed a mining robot by the name of Hades into a fighting machine.

And, he's the only one of the Masked trio who saw Sirius before the events on Black fortress.

Obviously well characterized- well characterized as the type who is ready for when things go wrong, who has a plan, strategy, tech skills, and arguably, is very strong.

But I have one thing to ask you.

Wouldn't it be awesome if he were in an anime?

Where did he get such skill?

Regulus was once a knight. in fact, one of the most powerful ones.

Well, while Regulas looks nothing like an Astral Knight. . .

Orion. . .

kinda does. . . .

It just makes me wonder.  . .If him and Regulas knew each other.

Before they helped Altair. And were friends.

My theory is that he trained under Molock as an astral knight. Now, I cannot prove that, but It is fun to think about.

And. . .

You might see me point back to that in some of my upcoming stories.

Orion4AnimePlz.  On a side note, I always wanted to make a Bomberman animation of my own.
But back on topic, I can see the logic in your theory. Perhaps he was the pre-Astharth. Granted, I highly doubt this is canon in any way, because I believe that Astral Knights stay Astral Knights until they die, but it's neat to think he may have been one. I do see a slight similarity between Orion and the knights, bar the scouter. In fact, if you look at Orion's helmet it looks almost like an owl, what with the hook like beak feature on the helm.
Since Owls are birds, this could point to him being a Wind Astral Knight, like Ashtarth.
Though I would like to say that Regulas could easily look like a knight under his big honkin' visor.

Gamin'Gal :

I highly doubt that this is canon as well.

I might be able to find someone who could do the animation for us actually.

I personally think that he was an engineer, and warrior trained on that fire planet from TSA (The Second Attack), and he might have known Molock.

It's interesting that you though to say Ashtarth, cause Ashtarth is green, like Orion is. I can totally see where you're coming from.

Perhaps Regulas, and Orion both looked different a while ago. In fact, if I recall, Regulas may be 1000s of years old actually.

And. . . I never beat TSA, I don't know if I will either, I wanted to beat Zeal before Regulas, but it's like the game is forcing me to beat Regulas first. There's this big block of some kind keeping me from the end, and it has the black hole symbol on it.

And maybe. . .it's common for people to have their own Power suits if they were to become bounty hunters, or super soldiers, or whatever.

Regulas has a cool getup.

I believe you're thinking of Zoniha, not Zhael.
I could sort of see him training under Molok. After all, I believe Neverland had a fairly industrious feel to it, moreso than most of the other planets. This could very well point to why he's good with machinery. Molok had a wise vibe going with him, so that could explain Orion's cautious nature.
HOWEVER, upon thinking on it, if you recall, every single knight, bar Zoniha and Regulas (and perhaps Ashtarth), had the same 'fight to the death' mentality that Artemis had. Now, I'm not going to try and say Artemis was a knight, as there's even less ground for that than Orion, but it's something to note.

imamonster :

Yeah, I'm afraid Fanon is as close as it comes. ;-;

Gamin'Gal :

Yeah, Zoniha, not Zhael, oops.

And that is an interesting point about Artemis having the fight to death mentality.

I believe that is a Japanese thing actually. Remember how the Japanese pilots in World War II would just crash their planes into enemy U.S. Carriers and stuff? They had even filled their ships with explosives to make it much, much more effective.

I'll tell you about what I think of Artemis in a different thread- some interesting things going on there as well.

Now, about the planet That red mountain came from, is it possible that red mountian, came from Neverland?

I think that it may be possible, but more from a long shot.

for one, the technology is entirely different. in Neverland and Red mountain, as is the style of the buildings being set up, though, this could be because Rukkifeleth does things differently than Altair.

In Neverland, the insides of the base match that of the Warship Noah. (weird Bible reference . . . . and it's not the only one, I may have make a thread about that sometime.)

But the technology inside Red mountian greatly differes from the technology found in Black Fortress, as well as Neverland.

I think that Altair just took advantage of already existing mining and heat insulation devices already on the planet when he took it, to where as Rukkifelleth installed his own.

They could be the same planets, but that might mean that Altair had the Earth stone. . . or couldn't find it.

Either way, after BM64, I'm sure that all planets returned to their original states.

The enemies are a lot different, though this doesn't mean that Red Mountain couldn't come from a completely different part of the planet then the part that you visit in The Second Attack.
