Recently, there's been talk of a new international agreement between the USA, Japan, Chile and other country that's said to increase rules on pretty much everything.

Food, medicine, Intellectual properties, and environment regulations are some of the items of interest. Among other things, it would apparently allow them to take over websites for "alleged" infringement. (They don't have to prove it)

Also, they have advisers from IBM, Chevrolet, st.lukes and other corporations who are claimed to know more about the agreement then the members who sign it.

Anyway, this seemed really, really important. I don't know the whole story behind this though, and I'm sure I missed a lot. What can/should we do about this?

. Wikileaks article here, you can find the document on that page. Or at least, what's been found so far.

As much as you want to do something about it, there is not really all that much you can do. If the governments are willing for it to happen, it will happen. Maybe contact some of the representatives and senators or your area to go against it? I dunno. Anyway, that taking over websites for alleged infringement is particularly concerning. They could pretty much take down any website they felt like it, even if the site has done no wrong. If I am understanding that correctly, they could, essentially, control the Internet. I am in support of a free and open Internet, and this seems like it would completely go against that.

Vizzed has 3 TB worth of games and 1 TB worth of music.  This site is free to use but the ads barely pay for the monthly server fees.  If too many more people use ad block, the site cannot survive.

We prioritize the community over the site profits.  This is why we avoid using annoying (but high paying) ads like most other sites which include popups, obnoxious sounds and animations, malware, and other forms of intrusiveness.  We'll do our part to never resort to these types of ads, please do your part by helping support this site by adding Vizzed.com to your ad blocking whitelist.
