megamanmaniac : Being banned for 2 days set me back. I submitted that score while I was banned because I got banned right when I was playing it.

My current score is just so it didn't count as 0 in case my ban was ended after the event. I need maybe 2 days to build up a good score
But, I suppose I'm fine with it if we end it tomorrow as long as we win. I just wanted to have a good amount of time to build up a score that wouldn't suck so bad we lost :V If you guys think we have it in the bag already then go for it. End it tomorrow.

I'll just work on a good score all day today instead ^^

I have decided after deliberating with a LOT of people, not all of whom are involved in this game, with objective takes...

That this challenge will end early.

Tomorrow at 10 PM EST is the deadline.

"Time." legacyme3 said solemnly.

"So, how do you feel?" He got no responses. The game was beginning to take its toll. Players were beaten. Ragged. Tired. And they just played Bubble Bobble. The inhumanity.

However, all was not lost... for one team.

"The winners of this challenge, with an average score 50,000 points higher..." they waited on the cliff...

"Hokori! Safe tonight!"

Kengen groaned. This game was slipping away. Tonight they would be voting out another member, and lessening their numbers to 4. Would it be sonicmcmuffin? How about pokemon x? Was deg2000 the black sheep? Did silverthundr disrupt the camp? Or is supernerd117 the one that's getting the axe?

With so few players remaining, speculation ran wild.

And the wrong choice tonight could be a game changing mistake. For one. Or for all.

This was one of my worst attempts at a challenge. I would have felt guilty if we lost but lucky it didn't come to that. I actually found the game amusing this time despite it being annoying as hell.

Let's keep it up Hokori!

I don't know why everyone found this game so frustrating. It didn't seem that hard to me. Positioning yourself properly is the hard part. Once you do that, it's smooth sailing.

At least Hokori pulled out with it's second straight win. The merge is coming...but I'll be Hokori forever.

The remaining members of Kengen found their way back to camp, and rather than discuss the events at Tribal, they decided to just let bygones be bygones and go to sleep.

In the morning, they awoke to legacyme3 sitting by the tribe campfire. Rather than ask why he was there, they groggily assumed their listening position.

"Good morning, Kengen Tribe. Sleep well?"

Not a response.

"Well, I'm here to tell you the same thing I told the Hokori Tribe... you are done on this island. For the remainder of the game, you will live on this small island here..."

He points to a small island on a lake on the island. You never noticed it before.

"Pack up your things, you have a long walk, and you need to be there in the next day."

"Are we there yet?" asked one member of the Hokori Tribe.

"No." said another.

This exchange lasted a good 2 hours.

Upon reaching camp, they found their arch-enemies, the Kengen Tribe there as well.

Not being totally stupid, they quickly connected the dots.

"This is a merge." stated one member of Kengen, and one member of Hokori at the same time.

"Correct." said a familiar voice.

"As you are now aware, you are now one tribe. You are not Kengen or Hokori. Drop your headbands."

Everyone did as told. Red. Purple. Neither mattered.

legacyme3 then procured a bag from his pocket, and threw it in front of the various remaining players.

Upon opening the bag, the players found orange headbands.

"Your new tribe name is 'Uragiri'."

The players put on their new headbands.

"From this point on, it is a free for all. The ultimate goal is to be the last person standing. There will still be challenges. However, rather than relying on teammates, you are relying predominantly on yourself. The best score in each challenge is the only person to win immunity at Tribal Council. Meaning if you don't win today's challenge, anyone here can vote for you. From here on out, everyone is vulnerable."

Worried looks across the faces of the players gave away their fears of being the next sent home.

"However, even if you are voted out, you aren't done on Kanashi Shima. If you are voted out, you will become a member of the 'jury'. At the end of the game, when only 2 or 3 remain, the jury members will ask the final players left questions about why they think they deserve to win the game. The jury, by and large will be the players determining who wins this game. So it's not as easy as getting rid of players... you need to get rid of players that you think will also vote for you at the end."

With this new information, it was obvious new alliances had formed.

"Anyway, enough of the technical stuff, you learn by doing, not by hearing. So, let's get to your first individual challenge..."

I'm sorry, this was supposed to update two days ago, really, but really close friends know that I have a good reason for my absence lately. At any rate, the show must finally go on. So it will. The deadline to put your score in has been moved back to today, so any scores between the start of the challenge and now are eligible.

"Time!" said legacyme3, full of vigor and attitude.

"A reminder, only the person who wins is safe. Everyone else is vulnerable. The top 5 will get a hint to the Hidden Immunity Idol. With that said..."

He backed away to the hidden results page. And after five minutes of tabulating scores for dramatic effect, he returned, and spoke up.

"The winner of Immunity is..."

An elongated silence.

"megamanmaniac!"

He stepped forward to receive his immunity wristband.

"With this, you are safe at tonight's Tribal Council. Everyone else, you are vulnerable. But before you all go... will the top 5, megamanmaniac, Blubcreator, sonicmcmuffin, Surgiac, and silverthundr all come forward?"

They all did.

"Here is your clue. It will be sent to your PM Box within the next 10 minutes. All I will say is it is a different idol from the previous one. I cannot confirm or deny what happened to the other one. I will just make it known that it is no longer possible to get clues for that idol."

And with that, he bid them all adieu.

The players, confident in their decision to cut the only non-participating member out of the group, found themselves down to just 9.

Coming by the campfire, they found it still burning, which was unusual. Usually, Tribal Council was a few hour affair, and the trek would lead them back to camp without any fire.

Tonight, the battle with the cold would not be had. Thankfully, Kanashi Shima decided to cut them all a break for once.

Or so they thought.

No sooner were they in their shelter, ready for a nice calm summers night sleep... did it start raining like hell. Too bad. It was almost a good night.

When they awoke the next morning, the remaining contestants convened on the location of the challenge.

"Morning, everyone. I hope you slept well. Rainy days are the best."

Many grumbles were heard. Ignoring this...

"So let's play our game! Today, you'll be playing..."

Ms. Pacman!.

You know the basic rules. Top score wins. That's all there is to it. However...

1. You MUST PLAY UNDER THE DEFAULT SETTINGS (IE - no boost, normal mode, arcade)
2. Screenshot must look "similar" to this


If you do not take a screenshot quickly after getting a gameover, the game will reset, and you'll have to get a screenshot like mine. If you manage to get a screenshot where the picture says "Game Over" and the score, I will give you an extra 5,000 points.

Because everyone who participated got the bonus points, the bonuses all cancel each other out. So basically, no bonus, because everyone got it

"Time!"

A brief pause. Then a chuckle.

"Technically, it looks like the winner of immunity... was me!"

legacyme3 puts the Immunity Necklace around his own neck. Then smiles.

"But that's not how the game works."

Then he removes it from his neck.

"The actual winner of the challenge, and winner of immunity... for the second challenge in a row, megamanmaniac!"

megamanmaniac steps forward to retrieve his well earned prize.

"This was a pretty tough challenge, I take it, because none of you beat my score. Granted I sucked, and didn't screenshot the gameover screen fast enough, but it didn't matter. Tonight, nine becomes eight... You cannot vote for megamanmaniac. Anyone else is fair game. Best of luck to those who aren't safe tonight. Anyone who survives past tonight has a one in eight chance of winning this game."

And with that, he dismissed his players. Tonight, a potentially hard decision needed to be made. At what point do you get rid of threats, and at what point do you decide to carry dead weight in the hopes of getting an easy person to beat?
