Can't find the retro game room id.. new to the site...

but anyways, i was playing dragon ball z: buu's fury...i just opened the game a few minutes ago and in a button smashing fury accidentally 'started a new game' instead of playing off of the old saved one..

i've been searching the site and reading on save file manager and whatnot but i'm getting lost as i haven't used a vista computer in a while..

any way to change this and keep playing from where i left off? any help is obviously much much appreciated!

thank you so much, either way, love the site and this won't stop me from starting a new one if i have too (but please don't make me!) haha

Unfortunately the Save File Manager was removed a while ago. It allowed backing up and recovering saves. It was removed to prevent loss of data during a server migration, as well as to reduce server strain.

This means if you accidentally overwrite a savestate with the F2 key, that state can't be recovered.

So when I was reading about save files being saved to my computer...what does that mean?

is there anyway to save progress to my computer in case I do this again? Or is the in-game saving methods only saved to the emulator/VGR plug in ?

thanks for the reply trying to use save states now but would still love to get back my old game data haha XD

The files are saved to your computer.
Depending on the operating system you are using, they are saved in a specific location on your computer.

So if you remember to make a copy of a save file, you can restore it later.

What OS are you on?
