That has nothing to do with it. I competed two TdVs ago when I was staff. I am not competing now and I am not staff. (I stepped down but David hasn't demoted me yet). I just don't feel like it lol.

This is a little different from a person who wanted staff for a while. Has it ever occurred to you that it might be because they are busy with their staff work AND monitoring the TdV? I can say that Eidetic has been the prime example of someone who has been consistently giving reports every day about people who should be DQ'd. In fact, some of the reports that he brings are the more technical ones (the 25% rule and the 50% rule) which requires him to go through different pages of the site and make different calculations and scanning. All of this takes a lot of time.

I would say that the last Team TdV just shows how staff can be pretty busy during TdV month. People have different reasons, some can be because they are busy, others could be that they are disinterested, and some might just be spending the time watching the TdV.

Keep up with the TdV is a lot of work. you know something else I thought about though, as well, Barathemos?  Timing in the year has a lot to do with it as well. Take for example... this TdV.  Whether in high school or college... most students are very stressed preparing for exams right now.  Teachers also, get busier than ever at this time of the year.  Thus, there's a lot less activity than normal.

I'm sure there are other times of the year this happens as well, where the majority of vizzed users are collectively busy with something similar.  Most vizzed users are, after all, around the same age.
