Now, I don't know if some other Viz user made thread based on this, but what is your opinion on reality shows? I seriously don't like them. I think they are getting to out of hand. Who wants to know about your life and what you do? Who wants to see what you have to deal with? I hate how they fight, yell, and showing them going to these tweaker parties. I was so happy when Jersey Shore was cancelled. Duck Dynasty is ok but I don't like watching it everyday. These reality shows needs to stop. I noticed that a day or two that new ones would come in. This is why I don't like watching TV anymore. Keeping up with the Kardasians is the most biggest pieces of trash ever made on American television. What do you think about reality shows? Do you like them or do you hate them?

I really don't like reality shows.
They always make a bad name for themselves like creating useless drama to make their shows interesting. It's a dumb reason for a reality show to be interesting rather than focusing on their everyday life routines. I am pretty sure that you don't fight, argue, yell, etc... The worst part is that this most likely gives the impression of women in general are bad and love to start arguments to the viewers. Plus it's not cool watching people on reality shows get drunk and make the stupidest mistakes; it's really downgrading. That makes celebrities bad "role models" to us, the viewers or the "regular" people.
Unless reality shows can remove all of the everyday useless drama, I think that reality shows in general should stop airing.

I hate them with every thing that I am! It is not reality when it is not real. Almost (if not) all of those shows are fake, staged, scripted, FAAAAAKE. I don't like the content, don't want to watch them at all. If you like them, good for you. If you don't care its fake, then I am glad you can get enjoyment out of it but I can't what so ever.

In my own opinion, reality shows are pretty stupid and pointless. If I was in ine, I would hate all these cameras following me in my personal life. I wouldn't want them butting in on serious family conversations just to please a stupid audience. When I would watch some reality tv shows, yes they are sometimes entertaining because you really are in there life but you also have to understand that reality tv is only for the ratings, so maybe some of it isn't all true. All in all i dislike reality tv shows in general.

Never in my life have I bothered to watch one of "those" reality shows, and I don't think that I will ever start watching them. There's just to much drama, and I can't stand most of the ideas behind them.

Big Brother is a show where you take random people across the nation and place them in a house in which they have camera's spotted everywhere watching their every move. It is absolutely boring. Another "reality" show is the only way is Essex which isn't even a reality show as it is scripted. They make WWE's wrestlers look like professional actors. Every person on it seems to be really thick. (some are and some pretend to be it)

Me personally I find reality shows quite stupid and basically they are all the same in nearly all aspects of each other. All the MTV reality shows are basically bootleg remakes of Jersey shore(which in my opinion basically started the fad of reality television).

I hate any show that tries to explicitly mimic real life. Thus, I hate reality shows. I feel as if they are the worst kind of garbage on television. I do not want to feel as if I am in real life when watching a show, or playing a game. Reality shows are no exception. If I had the option to, I would do away with them. They only take away revenue from shows that are actually good. Ones that you can really care about, and have fun with.

I hate pretty much all of them. If I'm going to spend my time watching something as fake and scripted as those things, I might as well watch something semi-creative and entertaining. Well I used to watch Big Brother, a reality show where a group of strangers are forced to live in a house together and the last person remaining wins a huge cash prize, until they spent more time fighting with each other than anything else.
