Personally, I think its more fun to take out a melee weapon and sneak behind someone and...BAM! He is out cold(or maybe even dead)

What do you think is the best melee weapon in a video/computer game?

I think my favorite is the frying pan from Tf2 and Left 4 Dead 2. Its fun to smack an enemy(or a zombie) in the face with a frying pan. I also like annoying people with its sound while playing as a scout in Team fortress 2

I guess it would Notch's Pickaxe from Skyrim. Gotta love easter eggs, especially ones that reference Minecraft. The thing barely does any damage so it's useless to me as a weapon later on in the game but it can be used to mine ore veins since its a pickaxe. If I remember correctly it also has a smithing enchantment on it.

I love to use the Bat Outta Hell from TF2. 
Basically it is the skull and spine of a skeleton and you hit people with it. You can change it so that the skull represents the head of one of the classes. I like the demoman Bat Outta Hell, since the skull wears his famous eye patch.

I liked the Cerberus (the triple nunchaku) in Devil May Cry 3, it was the first item you get by defeating boss. It was not so powerful as to others but it had good area of damage moves.

My favorite melee weapon would have to either be the sol blade from Persona 3 Portable, the Neon Annihilator, the Bat Outta Hell, the Conscientious Objector, or the Sharpened Volcano Fragment, all of which are from Team Fortress 2. All the weapons each have distinctive looks, and well, they look amazing. The Bat Outta Hell also changes based on which class you have the weapon equipped to, and you can change the image that appears on the Conscientious Objector. It makes them even better. They also have standard stats, so you do not have to pay any penalties for wanting cool looking weapons (Only applies to Bat Outta Hell, and Conscientious Objector).
