I'll start off with - I hated school from k through 12. This was after going to college. I loved college. I understand now why a lot of people would choose to go back and do it again. College was awesome. And the classes were good. I can't really remember any specific class I took that went above and beyond any other but I just remember college classes being a lot less more enjoyable than the public school classes.

I think it was just the fact that in college I was finally in classes that I wanted to be in because they were relelvant to what I wanted to know and learn. I wasn't stuck in classes learning about Native Americans or frog anatomy. Those things just didn't interest me.

Oh, I just thought of one. I took a philosophy course in which we argued for or against on different relevant issues. Ex. war, crime, poverty, religion, racism, etc etc etc. That was a really awesome class. Half the time it was 25 or so people just having a discussion about these issues and arguing the side we felt was right. Probably the biggest thing I learned in that class was that even those people that seem to be on the "same side" on an issue never truly share the exact same opinion about that issue or other issues.

JigSaw: none yet. I don't usually come up with any until either New Years Eve or Day.

Ziggy: Staying home mostly. Now that the baby is here we're not traveling for Christmas anymore (wife's parents live pretty far away). We'll spend some time with my parents and siblings but mostly we're just going to spend time alone as a family. It'll be nice to have a slow Christmas season instead of a hectic one full of travel plans and sleeping at someone else's house.

It's the hardest and the funnest thing I've done in a long time.

You don't get very much sleep.

You have very little time to do what you want to do rather than what needs to be done.

It is rewarding to watch your child develop into a person. To see him/her begin to do new things on a regular basis is awesome. Sure a lot of the things she does right now and pretty boring but she's moving slowly towards being able to laugh and talk and sit up on her own and walk and do calculus.

I will admit it has been harder than I ever expected and I really believe that it is not for everyone. I feel like a lot of people that I know are far too selfish to properly raise a child.

Dragon: thanks!

I actually haven't bought anything. My wife did the shopping for people we had to buy for and we haven't bought anything for each other this year. We don't really buy a lot for Christmas. It's not as big of a deal to spend hundreds (or thousands as some people do) on gifts. We tend to buy things when we want/need them. Sure you can get good deals this time of year but we just don't care to contribute to commercializing Christmas.

Ziggy: I came from the -original- acmlm board. Back when it didn't suck. That was a LONG time ago.

So Vizzed Board sucks right now? ;P
However, that is not my question.
My question is this:
Do you have a Zombie plan? If so, what is it?

Uhm, I don't have any sort of zombie plan drawn up right now. Although if there was an outbreak of zombies I would hope to not be in the same city that they were in first of all.

If I was stuck in the same city I would try to leave the city if I had the chance. I have family that live nearby but far enough out of the city that it's not likely zombies could travel that far (3 hours away or so).... and it's almost a farming area that I would end up in so there might actually be enough food to live on.

If I somehow got stuck in the city I would probably try to barricade myself into the building I live in. I'm pretty sure I could manage to close off the main entrance and 2-3 smaller doors well enough to be safe for quite a while. And I would have multiple apartments to occupy and such. That strategy would require more time and effort. I would also want guns and probably wouldn't have many if it came to that. I need guns for this plan to work.

That's probably not a great plan but it was a very quickly thought up one .

I wonder how many times I'll have to explain that.

It is just my online name. One time when I was young I spelled George as Geogre and it just stuck with me from that time forth. Then once I was online I needed a name that was actually unique and didn't have a number or symbols attached to it. I added e's to make it easier to figure out how to say and that's where it came from.

Read. I love to read. Whether it's something online like a message board or a good book. I can read for hours and hours and barely notice the time passing. Plus it is one of the quietest activities you can do with a sleeping baby in one arm.

Neyro: I'm Christian. I was raised Christian so that is probably why I've stayed Christian. I have casually looked in to other religions but they all seem so strange to me. I've always felt like I am where I am supposed to be religiously so I haven't felt strongly about choosing a different one.

Ziggy: I'd be a breeding horse or bull . I think the reason is obvious .

Okay that's true. I honestly would probably pick Cat. Cats have got to have one of the easiest lives of any animal. Sleep and eat all day. How sweet would that be?
