well, I'm going to start with God.... but, not God himself.... more like a similar set of beliefs and expectations of life.

We both have the same religion, and therefore a very similar way of looking at many situations. Of course we don't respond the same way, it definitely helps that we already had similar values and beliefs.

Second thing that has helped us: we don't yell at each other. -EVER- If we are having an argument or "fight" over something we do our best to be calm and talk things out. Easier said than done, but so far nothing has been so big a deal that we can't handle it.

Third. Honesty. In everything. We don't do things behind each others backs, unless it's birthday/anniversary or otherwise related, so we have no reason to think the other is doing something that would be harmful to the relationship in any way.

Fourth. Lots of sex. We have sex as often as we want. Sex is one of things that has kept us so close. Now I'm not talking the slam each other into walls, screaming and yelling, 3 straight hours of humping sort of sex. Cause let's be honest, no one actually does that. We do what we want to, what we are comfortable with and that's good enough for us. We don't force each other to do things we aren't ready or desiring at the time. It works.

Hrm.... not sure what else has really helped. Those are 4 things that I see have definitely helped us out. Hopefully that answers your question

Inflammable, which means 'capable of being set on fire; combustible', is one that often confuses people, because the in- here is not the negative prefix. It is our first prefix, having the meaning in, so inflammable has an etymological meaning like 'into flames' (it's cognate with the English word enflame, which doesn't give anyone any trouble). But because of the fear that some people would mistake the prefix in inflammable for the negative one, the word flammable was coined. And that's the reason why flammable and inflammable mean the same thing.
