As some of you may know, I host a game called Mafia. Sometimes, Mafia can get a little tiring to continuously host. So began the journey to host a game other than Mafia that was fun, and gave me time to recharge.

Well, the search is over, hopefully.

What I propose is the start of Vizzed Survivor. Some may be familiar with this concept already, if they are fans of CBS' hit show, Survivor.

Vizzed Survivor will be a virtual representation of said game. People will sign up. (I will close off signups at a number like 16/18/21) People will be divided into 2, 3, or 4 tribes at total random, and players will be pitted against each other to win the grand prize. (Which will be explained further down)

The outline of the game will be as follows.

1. Signup
2. Game Start
3. First Challenge
4. First Voting Period
5. Two Day Break
6. Next Challenge
7. Next Voting Period
8. Two Day Break
9. Step 6-8 until we get to about 40-60% players left
10. Merge into one big group
11. Steps 6-8 until three players remain.
12. Final Vote to determine the winner of the game.

Here are some outlines of what to expect.

What will be in the challenges? - All the challenges are Immunity Challenges. No reward challenges, unless otherwise specified, as there is no need for a reward on any given day generally. All the challenges will be either game related or Vizzed related. None of the challenges will be based on who can be the first to do something, as we realize not everyone is available at all hours of the day.

Surely there will be people who signup but don't play - Challenges will last 3-5 days or so. If you do not do a challenge, or submit a score, your score will be 0.

This doesn't answer my question - Well, to discourage the above, there will be a small signup fee. This signup fee is 5,000 Viz. It's not a lot to anyone who uses Vizzed regularly, and it will prevent most newbies from signing up and bogging down the game.

What if this game is wicked popular and like a million people signup - I doubt that'll happen, but there'll be an application at the bottom of this post for you to fill out. If too many people sign-up, then I simply choose who will play. Higher ranks will be given higher priority in most cases. If 20 staff sign-up though, only 10 or so max will be allowed to participate unless no one but staff signs up. This also means newbies will be less likely to get in.

OK, you've got me interested, when will the game start? - Well, the game will start within the next month, if there's enough interest (I would need at least 15 to reasonably start the game). All players will be summoned to the game thread when the game has begun.

Survivor? Does this mean I'll be on TV? - Well, no, I obviously don't have the rights to Survivor. CBS does. So unfortunately, unless they decide this fan game is worthy, none of this will ever be televised. However, it is possible with your help, if this gains enough interest that it'll become a running game, and thus, something one can play more than once.

When is my signup/application fee due? - When you fill out your application and either send it to my PM Box or put it in this thread.

Wait, you said something about a grand prize? - Yes. Should you win, or place top 3 in the game, you will receive a reward based on how many people signed up, and sent in the 5,000 Viz registration fee. If you win, you will receive 70%-80% of all viz, if you finish 2nd, you will receive 10%-20%, and if you finish 3rd, you will receive about 5-15%. Second will always receive more than third. If you do not finish top 3, you win nothing, but my respect for having played to the best of your ability.
