You -could- potentially mess with the opacity with the text-box, because some of the lower text is a tad hard to read, but I really couldn't find any opacity that fit with the background and was as readable as yours is right now. Anyway, fantastic layout!

Here is a layout I made using the basic editor because it said the advanced one (which I presume let's you use CSS/Html coding  based on what I see here) is restricted to trusted members. I made my layout easy to read and straight to the point <3 it's of Ikaros and Nymph from the anime Sora No Otoshimono.

I just really love what you did with the header and signature.

Sometimes having the font weight automatically set to 'bold' messes with formatting if you try using bold, italics, or underline in the new layout post editor. I don't know why, exactly, but it happens. If that starts happening to you, because you use that formatting often, I'd just 'un-bold' the font.

Anyway, really nice job!

Perhaps the width of the text-box needs to be adjusted. The only reason I could see for this has to do with differences between the width of the computer screen. Mine's a standard 1024px width, so it should appear overlapping for most computers.
