Last I weighed myself, I was 130 pounds, or 58 kilos and I am 6ft. I am fairly thin for my age and I am right around the weight where most guys are in my age group I guess, if not a little bit less. I am expected to be 6'2" or so as an adult. I am hoping to start working out this summer so I am hoping to see this figure change. I don't want to get ripped or anything, but I just thought it would be a good idea. Most guys in my school average about 150 or so and I weigh 130ish but I am about the same height as them too though. Pretty strange...

Razor-987 :

Especially since you are not a short guy, in my loving and honest opinion you could easily afford to gain 20 pounds or so. If you want to hit the weights, make sure too you are ready for it by doing stuff like jogging first.

Hey! Well, I'm female. 5 feet 4 inches. I currently weigh in around 105 pounds. I try to weigh myself in the morning just after I wake up. I'm not concerned about the number. I remember getting really obsessed with trying to gain weight and it just led to unneeded stress. Please though, don't tell me to eat a sandwich or that I am too skinny. I work out. I drink half my body weight in ounces a day. I eat pretty well and I am happy. I work out to tone up and will start T-25 soon in hopes to build some muscles. I feel if I focus on building muscles, the weight will follow afterward.

I'm around 6 foot tall or 1,8 meters and I weigh around 62,5 kilos so that's... around 137,8 pounds. I'm trying to lose a half kilo for a taekwondo tournament though. I'm pretty thin since I grow very quick, I'm very tall.

I'm gonna do this in the metric system because I don't know the system most of you are using. I weighted almost 80kg because I gained 20kg while I was with my ex-boyfriend. Now I've lost some and am standing at 75kg, while my height is 1,76m. Since I'm pretty tall I look pretty skinny while being chubby at the same time, haha. Although my belly could use some tuning, I like being a bit chubby after being almost anorectic in the past. Go fatties!

I weigh about 130-140 lbs (about 62 kilos) as someone who is 5'9''. I haven't been working out recently, but I also haven't been eating much because it is summer and I'm too lazy to make myself something.

Let me see, I currently weigh in at 125.5 lbs and that comes to roughly 55.56 kg. I am (I think) 5'7". I used a BMI calculator and got 19.2, which is, apparently, normal, though it is on the low side. I am pretty skinny, but that sounds about right. I am doing cross country now, so that might change. My height probably will not though.

Chewy2014 : From what you said, you are at a healthy weight. If you were that weight due to lack of eating, then it would be another story but if you work out and are semi in shape then that is the perfect weight. Nice job drinking to, I find myself forgetting to drink throughout the day.

I got weight like, today, and I weigh in at 76 Kilos, or around 167 pounds. I am trying to lose a bit (I'm around 5'7-5'10) and I have put on a bit of weight, so trying to lose around... 20-30 pounds. Of course, not like in a month or something, but slowly lose it.

Well, I'm 5 foot seven and weigh 185.6 pounds. I used to do weight training in school (soccer) and but started to get lazy and all. Still have a built body but it's more... Soft and marshmallowy. I want to break this lazy habit and try to work out again, until my left leg collapses (long story, leg isn't as good as it used to ) and at least lose ten pounds .

Well I'm about in the 6'3 to 6'4 in height, so lets say I'm 6'3. Clocked myself in at 219.4 pounds which is about 98.55 kilos (hopefully I did that correctly). I would say I'm close to the normal range maybe a bit on the heavy side. But, given that I'm active at work and do some weight lifting, I wouldn't say that all of it is fat, some of the weight is due to muscle. Not all of it is muscle thou, but a fair amount is (I'll have to find one of those machines that tells you how much fat makes up your body). But overall I would say that I'm healthy-ish (thou I should really hit the gym).

sop281 : I wouldn't trust the BMI thing as it only takes body mass into account not what type of mass you have. For example, a person who does a lot of weight training (I guess bodybuilder would be the correct term) would be considered overweight on the BMI scale even thou his weight is because of muscle not fat. Don't get me wrong, the scale gives you a good estimate on where you are, but don't believe it to be 100% true.

For any future posts, I would like to remind you that muscle weighs more than fat...don't be discouraged if someone weighs less than you, as it is possible you simply have a higher muscle ratio than them, especially if you considered yourself fit before reading these posts. Just a reminder

Last I checked myself, I was about 190 pounds. I wouldn't say that is my destined weight limit, but it's better than other guys my age who are in the 200s.

I weigh 101 pounds. I think that is very little for a 5 foot 7 15 year old male I've always been super skinny, it's something I've had my whole life.

Last time I weighed 187 pounds =X Some of it comes from my height. I haven't weighed myself in 4 months so I might have lost some pounds with all the exercising I have been doing.

I have pretty much looked the same since I graduated high school. I remember I did keep track in my notebook that I still have. I played football in high school, and my coach told me to try and not gain as much as 30 from my freshman to senior year. These are how those 4 years went:

- Freshman - 5'9 165 in August - 5'9 171 in May
- Sophmore - 5'10 172 in August - 5'10 175 in May
- Junior - 5'10 190 in August - 5'11 205 in May (my coach told me to gain a little, he wanted me to play safety on defense)
- Senior - 6' 201 in August - 6' 206 in May

And now, 8-9 years later, I am about 6' 210. I try and work out a lot, but my weight seems to fluctuate between 205-215. The most I've ever weighed was 221, right after I got out of high school.
