Nope. I couldn't care less about girls when I was 10. Never to this day have I had a girlfriend. Mainly because I don't want a relationship and still don't. Maybe one day but I'm still a bit immature 

No not in middle school, to be honest I never felt like I needed a girl friend ever, and I'm in high school now. The reason why I never felt like I need a girlfriend is because I mostly hang around girls already and my female friends out number the amount of guy friends I have atleast 3:2. Having female friends and being around them 90% of the time is basically like having them as a girlfriend. But besides that having a girl friend in middle school is kind of pointless after all you can't really go out alone on a real date, and the most you could do with your girl friend at school at that age is maybe hold hands and a peck on the cheek and go to a school formal every once and while together.

In middle school, I succumbed to the pressures of my peers. So yes, I did feel like I needed a girlfriend. All of that peer pressure, combined with my easily molded little-boy mind caused me to want a girlfriend almost more than anything. Nowadays, I am not so easily changed, and my friends can barely persuade me to do anything superficial. Nowadays, I do not feel as if I necessarily need a girlfriend, it is more of a want to have a girlfriend. I have changed a lot since then, and I'm pretty glad that I did.

Well, most girls in my class are really nice. Although it wouldn't be bad to have a girlfriend, I think it would be over in a week or something I think you just should keep all girls in your class friends than having one as your girlfriend.

I never had a girlfriend when I was in Middle school, because what's really the point of having one, alright, I know that you start getting boyfriends and girlfriends in middle school, but mostly they last like a month. But it didn't really bothered me that much when I didn't have one.

Never had/have the 'need' of having a girlfriend. I also hate the term of 'having a boy/girlfriend'. If you two truly like each other, then
you shouldn't see each other as a possession, but as an actual human being, on the same level as you.

While I was with a girl for a few years, I never felt a need of being together. That is just awkward. Especially during middle school, you shouldn't focus on girls/boys alone, your studies are more important then. We both shared that opinion, and perhaps that is why our 'relationship' lasted longer then the average. It still wasn't something serious, the average teen relationship.

I do want to say that -from what I've gathered-, an early relationship, whether it's serious or not, can help later on. 

Of course I don't know if this is true for myself or not, seeing as I'm still in high school, but I'll see. 

nah, I didn't. I asked a girl to dance with me for some event in sixth grade but that was it.

I spent my time playing sports and hanging out with friends. I played video games on the frequent family road trips. Those times were great. These are better.

I'm in 7th grade. I have a girlfriend.
