My most memorable games are, in no order, NHL 94 for SNES, Final Fantasy 2 and 3, Guerilla War, Super Mario 3, Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, Ken Griffey Jr. Baseball, and Donkey Kong Country.

I grew up playing Nintendo but I started getting good at video games and really appreciating them in middle school, in the 90s.

The most memorable games from my childhood: Super Mario World, Donkey Kong Country, Donkey Kong Country 2, Banjo-Kazooie, and Goldeneye 007. I've played each of those when I was very young (though my mother didn't approve of Goldeneye 007 back then).

...nostalgia... I remember when I would sit down in my parents' room and open the curtains to let all the sunlight in (they have huge windows), then I would sit down and play DKC and SMW... Good times, good times...

Bomberman 64.

Why?

It was the first game or series that introduced to me the wonderful world of Hi-tech.

It was the first 3D game that I have ever played.

It had a lot of mystery and attention was paid to details.

The masked trio was a group of people that I always wanted to know more about.

And all the characters although they had little text were personalized well and were memorable somehow. And Sirius's move was very surprising. Who knew?

I always wanted to know more about the four worlds that Altair place in his Omni cube, that allowed him to use that planet as energy, and possible brainwash it's civilians and press them into his military.

And why did they use blades more often than guns?

Oh well, the bomber universe never really made a lot of sense when it came to weapons. Somehow bombs are the most powerful.

But I will never forget that game.

I leave you with this song from the game.

Dark knight of the blackened sun. I am Sword Legion, one of many. My mask is thick, and my armor is strong. All the more necessary in a world such as this. . .

Unlike many of the other people on here, I did not have a Nintendo home console to play on. The only Nintendo system I had for many years was a Game Boy Advance SP, so I wouldn't have even played the games everyone else has. Though, some of the most memorable games came from the SP. There was Pokemon Firered, which is still one of my favorite games of all time. There was also Medabots AX: Rokusho version. I poured many hours of my time into that game, even if it wasn't highly praised. The other games come from when I played on my PS2. There was Socom U.S. Navy Seals: Combined Assault, Jak & Daxter: The Precursor Legacy, Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus, Ratchet & Clank: Deadlocked, and uh... Gauntlet: Dark Legacy.

imamonster :

It is amazingly addictive. And hard. Even after playing it for almost thirty years I still haven't made even half way through of all the possible levels.
