Vizzed has just exceeded 1,000,000,000 views! As a way to celebrate, I made a new background for the site (many users hated the previous) and I've also made new icons for the Retro Game Room and the Video Game Room.

So how big of an accomplishment is 1 Billion? Well we pulled it off in just under 10 years (the view count began on 12-06-04). The site was averaging around 3,500 views per a day when this current Vizzed Board launched, now days it averages 1,500,000 views per a day. Not many sites publicly display their view count these days but out of the ones that do, I can't imagine too many sites exceeding 1 Billion views.

So how many people did it take to pull that off? Using my Google Analystics data, I've estimated that nearly 30 million unique users have used this site since it launched. 13+ million of those unique visitors have been from the United States which means around 4% of the USA's population has visited Vizzed.com at least once in their life.

Like always, I need to thank the staff for helping me keep this site active. As the site generates more and more traffic, it also demands more and more hours to keep under control.

Thanks for the change in the look, David!  I like the new look.  Is this something you're planning on keeping or is this just to celebrate the 1,000,000,000 mark?

This is a very beautiful achievement.

Something so large at the exact end of a server day. A server day also being Mario Day (MAR10), which is amazing for a gaming site.

The new logos and new background are beyond beautiful. I said it a lot before, but I wept because of it.

Side note: could you add the previous "Return to Vizzed Board" in place of the RGR and VGR for quick return to the board after browsing the game rooms? Or if you add a new image for the board, it would look really awesome if you used the avatars of some of the top users or some key board references like Zebra colors or Geeo's blob.

Is this Vizzed's biggest milestone since I've come here?
Anyway, congrats, David, and thank you for Vizzed.com; the reason so many people come & stay is because there's some sort of feel of family among the users. I hope this site manages to do greater things and gain new members. Also, the layout is amaaazing.

WOW!!!!  I love Vizzed so much it takes me back to when I was younger and I get to relive... I mean replay the same games over. I was even able to get my cousin and my partner into Vizzed for a short while. I'm so glad you have been able to make this dream come true for yourself, Davideo7. I hope you continue to help others with keeping their  childhood gaming alive. THANK YOU!!

I like the new design it seems fitting.
But about views only 4%? That seems low compared to all the people I hear looking for these games.
Now can we get to 2 billion views?

I actually liked the old background, but this one does make the page stand out more. It looks great! The respective icons for the RGR and VGR are nice as well. I've been filling out a lot of surveys recently with Vizzed.com as my favorite site, just gotta keep spreading the word. 2 Billion is on its way!

   Congratulations!~ This is quite the achievement, and considering I've been on her for about a week or so, I've had quite a bit of experience and I'm so happy that I'm now a Normal User, and on the same day we got a billion views too. Can't wait to see what unfolds for us in the next few years, maybe even reaching 2 Billion!

Hard to believe that a site I found three and a half years ago is this huge now.

I forget what the view count was when I joined, but it wasn't even close to what it is now. (I was user #69102. There are now 461,892 users as of this post. This means I've been here longer than 85% of users.

It's been a hell of a ride, and I'm glad I'm actually here to celebrate it.

Congratulations to you and those who developed the site to get it to where it is now. 

I only got to around 999,800,000. It just got too late at night for me in England. Considering I had school the next day I wasn't going to pull an all nighter. 

I like this new layout, it looks professional compared to the older one.
