TITLE: CYBERCORE SYSTEM : TUBOGRAFX-16 REVIEW BY GOLGO 14
                                                           FUN AT ITS CORE
Cybercore is a vertically scrolling shooter consisting of 8 stages that although it doesn't quite reach the heights of Blazing Lazers or the Star Solider series in terms of greatness, it retains the spirit and fun of a quality shooter that should give shooter fans reason enough to jump on board and save the world by shooting.bugs.dead.

GRAPHICS: 6/10 Cybercore's world is populated with a great variety of insects and bugs that are nicely drawn with easily distinguishable features that set them apart as they flutter, dash and crawl at you .The colors and stages themselves are pretty average but in no way offend and do have some nice detail and variety sprinkled here and there like honeycomb like architecture that burrows through the ground showing one of the ways the bugs and insects have transformed our world into theirs or a lost ruin flooded over with sand and deadly scarabs, Cybercore in a way, reminds me of how I view Susan Boyle, average to look at, but boy can she sing!
SOUND/MUSIC: 8/10 What Cybercore lacks in appearance , it makes up for it with a really fun, intense soundtrack that drives the player onward .Every stage beats the player over the head with infectious melodies(just try not tapping you're foot to stage 3!!)and catchy synth compositions that truly shine. The sound effects are also excellent and capture each bug explosion like a splat on your windshield.
ADDICTIVENESS: 7/10 The moment to moment gameplay comes installed with responsive, easy to understand controls and mechanics that take the player through some addictive enemy attack patterns and big, nasty end boss battles. You play as (i'm not making this up) Rad Ralph who is part human and mechanical bug tasked with using his 3 different bug suits that all have their own unique style of fire power . The player also has a constant supply of ground bombs(a l'a Dragon Spirit) that keep the player mixing up the shooting action from above to below and adds some variety to the standard shooter tactics it presents here. Overall, very addicting!
DEPTH/CHALLENGE:6.5/10: Cybercore has an average running time of 25 minutes with 8 stages in total. The difficulty (if you can stay powered up) can vary from beginner to intermediate. If you are a seasoned player you won't find much of a challenge here as I found with other shooters but if you find you can't stay fully powered up then Cybercore will present beginner to intermediate players with a little sting of a challenge.
CONCLUSION:Cybercore is a really fun bug blastin' title that shooter fans should enjoy and though it can't quite hang with the big boys that defined the shooter genre it does deserve at least 1 playthrough or maybe 2.. if you're Arachnophobic! 7.5/10

I've said it once and I'll say it again - I like reading your reviews because you don't review mainstream games. Cyber Core, never heard of it - WHICH IS WHY I LIKE THIS REVIEW! Plus, I like your humor (Susan Boyle).

I will give some constructive criticism though - I thought the title was bland especially since I know you're imaginative. Also, usually a user's scorecard is displayed at the top of the page - I don't see yours...
