tRIUNE : There is about a dozen comments on the game's page asking how to insert diskette 2. I brought the game up and it's a mystery to me too. I thought it might be like the Famicom but no. Any advice for this person?

thephantombrain : It's currently not possible to switch disks with the RGR Plugin for Apple II games. Though, I'm looking into a way to possibly combine both disks into one file with a program I recently discovered.

MeatAndPotatoes : Unfortunately it looks like it's not possible. After I've had time to try out the available options with the program, it turns out that the option to merge file is only for transferring the data to a physical floppy disk, so the files merged couldn't be emulated (unless maybe I knew how to dump the data back).

The option to switch disks for Apple II is available though within the emulator the RGR Plugin is using through the UI Menu's File Manager, but it's just not coded within the Plugin. (or maybe it is and the code doesn't work? I dunno)

tRIUNE : Thanks for the reply, and it's all good. It's not like this game has the depth and replay value of a "Final Fantasy," but I think this was the first game I played that depth became an appreciated value. I just wanted to play it all the way through, because the hunting is really fun, and for some reason, one of my in-game family members always seems to die of dysentery, right before we get to Oregon. hahaha ?
