Why do people always talk about marriage being between a man and a woman and say that homosexuality is wrong because of what the bible says.
The bible also says in deuteronomy 22:13-21
"a marriage shall be considered valid only if the wife is a virgin. If the wife is not a virgin, she shall be executed."

God's purpose for marriage is to promote companionship between a male and a female, as well as a model of how God as the groom loves the Church as the bride. Unselfish, unconditional love. That is why in both Old Testament and New Testament gave an expectation that marriage is between a man and a woman. This doesn't just go against homosexuality, but also other formations like polygamy, sexual relations with animals sexual immorality,  Even to the expectation of deacons and bishops, they specifically say the husband of one wife.

The verse that you quoted is just how the Israelites during that time handled situations like this, especially since the context of the mosaic covenant during that time is establishing Israel as God's people and that as a group, they are to be kept obedient to God if they were to be blessed by God.

When Christ came it started the new Covenant therefore the New Testament is what we go by but we should not ignore the Old Testament. Okay if you go on the Bible. The Bible says that homosexuality is wrong the book of Romans, I Corinthians, Timothy, and Revelation. But the Bible says adultery is wrong too. So if two heterosexual people, who are married to others, have an affair they are doing are committing sin too. 

I am not confused, I will admit though I'm just a sinner who is saved by grace. Jesus makes it clear that anybody regardless on their background can be saved. If they confess with their mouth and repent and accept Christ (believe) then thou shall be saved. That is what I believe. God wants to have a relationship through us with Christ.

Oh okay that is the free will vs pre destination debate. Pre Destination says that God chooses who will be saved and he already knows and they condemned have been condemned already. Disclaimer what I am about to say is not attacking anybody's faith so please do not get offended. 
I think we have free will. I think God's gives us the ability to think logically and to chose Christ or not. If God had already chosen who will chose him. Than God would not have needed to become a man the son (Jesus Christ) to die so people can be saved. Christ came so that people who wanted and believed can be saved. Romans 10:9 says it best if you confess with your mouth and repent and believe that Jesus is the Lord, than thee shall be saved.

If I am not mistaken the Bible also says that if a man lusts in his heart for someone he is sinning. Something like that. Basically most if not all of us sin sexually whether its homosexuality or adultery or just lusting. Obviously the consequences for each are quite different and some are far worse than others. One thing I would like to say about the Bible is that I really believe that the Christian Bible was written to let all of us know we are sinners and that we need Jesus. I tell that to the guys I mentor all the time. When it comes to your faith its not all about what you do its about if you realize you aren't perfect and follow Jesus. One thing I have learned a lot especially in America is a lot of people really think  they are all that and cant admit that they are wrong sometimes and have faults so I teach my guys that's kind of important.

Now as for the other topic that got thrown in here I believe the term is Election. Basically it talks about being one of God's Elect and they go to heaven. Well that might not make sense to us and seem kind of wrong, but I take the approach that God is beyond time. He can see beginning and end of time and will know before we are even born if we chose to follow him. Just my opinion based on stuff I have read and church etc.

I personally believe no good deed will grant you anything. Only your belief. And maybe not even that.

This means what is between me and God and it is not your business since he is the only one I cannot ever lie to or tell any half thruts. He has my heart.

But this also means all the half truths and the prides many of you take so lovingly granted shall also be judged. More fiercely so maybe than for your pride and vanity would like to take granted for. It is told many times in the good book what happens to those who believe they are with out sin or who are the ones who are willing cast the first stone. You shall burn beside me. Forever and ever.
