I'm sure we've all been in the position where we've either procrastinated or forgotten about a huge test until the last minute. So, here's a fun thread where you can recreate your experiences or hypothetically say what you would do if you were in this position.
The more elaborate and tip-giving it is, the better!

It's midnight and you realize you have a big test the next day... What's your plan? And let's say that the text was at 7:45 am the next day.

Now I'm curious to see your plans and whether they have any unique ideas. Of course, the answers will differ based on how far you live from school and how much sleep you need to function.

First I would study what I could, and try not to panic. If you study some that is better than nothing. I would study all night. If the test was that early and then after the test I would go back home and go to sleep. While I was studying I would take the time to memorize key notes in lectures, or problems on homework assignments. The key is not to panic of course I know that is easier said than done.

Oh, sounds interesting. I'm not good at time management, so I guess I'll do what I can.

So it's currently midnight, right? First off, I'd gather all the notes I've written down and tests/quizzes I've ever done for that class.

Stuff them in my bag and go to sleep (lol). When I wake up, I'll make sure that I eat a little breakfast. It's best to eat something for breakfast, but not so much that you'd have a tummy ache later on during the test. I'd pack about two reusable water bottles with me and go to school about two or three hours earlier than when class starts.

As fast as I can, I'll organize my notes, tests, and quizzes according to dates. I'd highlight terms and their definition first. That's what I study alone. For me, it's kind of hard to study electronically, so I would have to print out my notes just to study them.

When I get the terms and definitions out of the way, I like to scan for 'interesting facts' about the material. Those would be easy for me to remember.

Next, I would usually find a friend or a classmate of mine to study with. This is probably the most important step for me. Usually, I would ask if I could test them on the subject. For some reason, it's easier for me to remember material if I'm the one testing my classmate/friend rather than they test me.

I can probably guarantee I will pass the test with above 70%. Unless it's math, then I'm screwed.

Step 1: Go to bed.

Step 2: Pass test like a boss.

Step 3: Repeat.

Haha seriously though, I never study. I don't have a photographic memory, but I have a very good memory. As long as I paid attention in class, I will be ok. I didn't even study for my Biology Regents Exam (It's a really important and long test, for those that don't take it where they live) and I got a 97 out of 100 on it.

Even if I did need to study, I would still go to sleep and skim over my notes before class. It is never a good idea to stay up late studying, sleep is very important.

I do not study all night. I get the sleep I need. Then, I (against the rules) stay up in class during recess hiding under the desks with a small group in my class and have a thorough study session. It saved from a 60 in Math and got me a 73. It's something.

Well usually if this happened to me I would end up failing the test the next day. Especially if it was in the morning. Staying up to 12 doesn't work so well for me especially if I had to get up then boom there is a test. I was never good with studying late waking up and remembering all I studied.. I have to refresh my mind or I will fail. Now I'm not so sure sense I do all my stuff online it gets a lot different for me.. I have more time to study and basically I can do what I want and finish things when I want like if there is a dead line then I could finish it early if I wanted to and I still have a few days after the deadline to finish it.. which makes no sense but that is how my schooling works. Mornings are not good for me either it would be better if the test was in the afternoon and then I had a bit of time to study before that big test that I forgot about

I try not to let this happen by studying well in advance and keeping the material fresh in my mind, but I have been in this situation before, believe it or not, so here is what I would do:

I would get all my notes and past quizzes, tests, handouts, textbook, flash cards or anything I would need to study for the test and I would go over it a few times.

I like to keep a physical copy of all my notes because even though my teachers put them online as well, I can't study as well because I will be distracted by vizzed. So I like to keep them on paper.

I make flash cards if I know in advance that the test is going to be vocabulary oriented with definitions and such, so I go over those a few times to make sure I know them.

I only study the stuff I am not familiar with because I think it is a waste of time to study stuff you are already familiar with and know pretty well, so I would rather put that focus into something that I could brush up on.

I mostly study for either math or my ap class. I know math can't really be "studied" but I practice problems and familiarize myself with them. Same with ap,  get familiar with important events, dates, people, etc. All of my other classes are easy and I always get an A on the tests anyway.

1. Freak out.
2. Remember you already studied.
3. Fall asleep.
4. Ace test next day.
It has happened to me before, and this is always my plan. It always works.

Well, I just pick up whatever material I have to use to study, study it in less than 10 minutes as fast as possible, then go to sleep. The next day, I simply pass the test.

If it's a hard class:
1) Panic for five minutes(give or take) just get it out out of my system. Yes, I know you should NEVER panic but its better to get it out then leave it in.
2) Attempt to cram or at least read over the materials.
3) Go over the material while laying down before going to sleep.
4) Just take the test and hope for the best!

If it's an easy class:
1) "Wait... oh, I have a test tomorrow. Meh, whatever.
2) Five minutes before class begins study over the notes and anything highlighted
3) Ace the test.

Well really, I never actually study for tests. I have amazing memory when it comes to work (Horrible memory when it comes to anything else) I usually pass my tests with over an 80%. Never have I gotten a test under 80% except once, I got a 67% in one test before.

I mean, if I think I should know something about the class, I research and learn it the day we see it. Let's say we started learning about the periodic table last semester, so naturally when I came from school I took all day to learn everything about the periodic table. Elements, History, Meanings, everything.

If it's a test on a subject I am struggling with, than yes I would study, but most likely I probably wouldn't and still do good at least on the test.

This happened to me one time, and it was not pretty at all...I panicked then things just got worse for me. So I just hoped for the better that I get some points.

I study all night until I fall asleep holding my materials, and then the next day study whenever possible in the car going to school, or in my other classes, at lunch, or basically anywhere else... I have, I'll admit asked my parents a couple of times if I could ditch PE to study for a more important class. I hate PE anyway though. It's a complete waste of my time. Generally though, I am able to get away with cramming like this and still get A's... which is a problem, because I sometimes take advantage of my quick memory and learning ability and procrastinate until I'm so stressed that I'm basically crazy for the rest of the week trying to catch up. I need to stop doing that. It really isn't fair to the people who really study, for one thing.
(Of course, I don't really study at all for easy classes. I may just glance over my notes five seconds before the test just to jog my memory and summarize everything for myself, and that usually does the trick. Basically, even if I never studied once, if it's fresh in my head I will do fine.)
...But I have procrastinated like that several times. Don't get me wrong, I'm very studious, but like I said, I have this bad habit of taking advantage of my natural gifts and being extremely lazy, and still just getting A's. It's not very healthy really. I end up sleeping like three to five hours per night the whole week.
I just wouldn't bother revising. What is the point of revising when you are already tired? Either you go to sleep there and then and be alert for the test or study all night and fall asleep for the test.

To start studying for the exam for two hours then get up early in the morning when repeat lessons. Once I take a look in the morning lessons will eat bread with cheese and tea and tried to stay as calm
