NintendoFreak120 : Are you talking about the BigGoron sword?  If you are, there is a second side quest, that makes it invincible, and makes it an incredible item! However, you can't use a shield with it, but I think it's worth it.

There are a lot of useless items in The Legend of Zelda games, but I have to go with Deku Nuts. I am more of a combat kind of guy, I don't bother stunning enemies. I just stab or shoot them with an arrow.

Nothing really comes to mind when you say "useless Zelda items". Every item has it's own purpose in fulfilling a part of your quest. I guess to me it would be some item that stuns the enemies like the Deku Nuts because I barely ever use them.

The telescope from Wind Waker. The only use is for ONE CUT-SCENE that happens 10 seconds after obtaining it. It literally just zooms in the camera.

I feel like people don't use certain items a lot.

Biggoron sword- Can do a quest to make it not break

Deku nuts- Used in speed runs and can be used to take out really annoying enemies. Like keese, those rays from jabu-jabu.

deku stick- Stronger than the kokiri sword, and can be used to make the kokiri sword 4x stronger.

All in all there is no useless item in zelda games. Every item is used in the game atleast 3-4 times.

Most recent post says telescope. But you can use it to get a really good view in rooms that you can't get with just the C-stick

Spinner and Dominion Rod from Twilight Princess, becoming almost completely useful after the Arbiter's Ground, Temple of Time, and Sky Letters quest, the only exceptions for the Spinner are two parts in hyrule castle. Sure items like slingshot and Ball and Chain may seem useless are some time, but can be indeed quite handy, such as slingshot as secondary ranged weapon in case of missing arrows, or the Ball & Chain being used to eliminate entire groups of weak enemies easily while maintaining a distance. Spinner is not a suitable mode of transportation as it only lasts a few seconds and is only fast on railing, which appear very little outside of Arbiter's Ground. Dominion Rod is only useful for two reasons: completing The Temple of Time, and completing the Sky Letters quest. All it does is move statues with no other capabilities, unless you the ones inside Armogohma's room.

In my opinion the Spinner is especially sad. I tried to use it few times in battle, and it somewhat worked but overall it would have been easier to just cut the enemies with my sword. On the other hand I still think that Arbiter Grounds is one of the best Zelda temples mainly because of the creative use of Spinner so they kinda wasted that item.

P.S. There were also few moments where it was used in Hyrule fields to get Heart Pieces, but that's about the extent of it.

I think its the deku nuts, because I never use them because there's no real point to them. Then again, that Goron Sword is pathetic when shattered, but you can get it upgraded to that Biggoron Sword to make it permanently awesome.
