Sometimes I do even though I am new here. 

I'll friend people that I talk to frequently in chat.

If someone random friends me, I will usually do the same back to them though.

I don't even have to look at my friend list to answer this one.

I only friend people that I know well enough and enjoy talking to. The execptions to the rule are people that friend me first. Basically, if some random person friends me, I friend them back. I don't like coming across as rude or like I think someone is less than me, so I accept friendship and return requests to anyone that wants me to. More often than not, I end up actually making friends with them afterward.

I have somewhat randomly friended one person, but only once. And I have actually talked to them before. So yeah, there you have it.

Oh, and I also usually remove people that remove me. Not because I get upset, but because I figure if they don't want me on their list, then they don't want me on their "people who have added this user" list either. More honoring wishes than anything.

I always get annoyed somewhat when people friend me If they have never made contact with me before. I guess it means that I'm getting popular, but popularity is something that I've never sought out in the first place and never will seek out. But, I'm not unfriendly and don't outright hate it either, I know some people are just different and like doing things that way. I like having friends because people care about me, not cause I'm popular.

Put me on your list if you want/ have time for another friend. If not, that's very understandable.

I only friend people I know that will be happy to add me as well- because we've talked to each other before and gotten along great.

And hey, you, yeah you, you know who I'm talking to, I'm not mad at you for adding me randomly. I just prefer to do things differently that's all. peace.

On Vizzed, it hasn't happened to me yet. Also i'll probably only add you if i talk to you in the chat first. Otherwise i probably won't know who you are unless you post an excessive amount,..

If it's my Steam account a lot of people randomly add me for no apparant reason.. so most of the time i randomly add them back, after checking their profile for certain annoying things of course that i would rather avoid in the long run

not really i would like to know about this person before i friend them besides it doesn't count since it's on a computer right? and in real life i basically have no friends

Jokes aside, I do not add people randomly. I know I don't like it at all when people do it to me on steam for example, so unless I have a reason to add someone (we want to talk with each other about something, we are online friends etc)  I am not going to do it. I assume other people might dislike it as I do. Generally I think that people should avoid doing things to others that they don't want to happen to them (like laughing at someone) 

Not because I can not do a friend a man you just know. But there are many cases that recognize that different people have become close friends through chat. Do not think that one day here in vizzed will find any close friend.

I don't really get annoyed by it all that much, but I at least hope that they don't expect me to immediately add them back if I haven't even talked to them before. It may seem like I have a lot of friends that I have added on my profile, but I know and talk to the majority of them. Some people have 100-200 friends on their profile when they only talk to a small portion of them. So I wouldn't say I get annoyed, but I would like to get to know and talk tot the person before adding them back, otherwise my friends list would be filled with a ton of people I haven't even talked to before.

Nope, I don't really friend anyone, or talk too anyone. Basically everyone on my PSN, LoL, Vizzed, and MMO friend lists requested me first. In MMOs it's usually guild mates who request or in LoL it would be because I wasn't a rager who couldn't play himself. Tis' why I have such a short friend list.

I usually only friend people I've gotten to know a bit. I guess an exception is if people ask me to friend them in that case I might sometimes friend them even though I haven't talked much to them.

I don't send requests to random people, no. If we've had contact before and we know each other and you somehow haven't friended me yet, great! I'll gladly add you (and come up with a cheesy nickname that I'll never use ).
If someone friends me, I'll friend them back and try and initiate some chat with them. If we never talk, I usually remove them. (Except when I don't. Then I'm just too lazy)

Nope I don't add random people to my friends list, and I usually try to avoid adding random people to my friends list. I feel like my friends list should have people on it that I talk to every other day or once in a while. I don't just except random requests out of the blue from people I've never even spoken to or playing a game with or spoken with them in game while using game chat box. To be honest I don't really like it when I get random friend requests but I can't help but to feel a little bit flattered and I also feel like my name is getting well known when I receive a random friend request. 

I friend people if they seem humorous, helpful or just happen to cross paths with them a lot.

I did friend random people. Way back in 2011, that is. I was much more immature and just wanted to add as many people as I could because it would be the "cool" thing to do. I have matured since then, and for a while now, I have not been adding anyone unless I have known them for a reasonable amount of time, or liked them enough to do so. Recently, I have just been not adding people though, as the adding is usually unrequited. 

I tend to only friend people I play the same sort of games with. This gives you a person to drill if you get stuck. I also friend people who give me good answers when I am having issues.
