Most, if not, all the Minecraft players knows on who Herobrine is, but in case you don't know who he is. Herobrine is one of the biggest myths in Minecraft history, some saying he doesn't exist in Minecraft and others say he does, this myth has been around as long as Minecraft was around.

So this ask the question, do you think that Herobrine happens to be in the game (the Herobrine modification doesn't count). To me, I have yet to see Herobrine in the game and I don't think he will be in the game, but sometimes, that gets me wondering about this though after seeing some videos on YouTube (sorted by rating due to positives reviewed videos are real ones), but even with those videos, I won't believe it until I see it on mine.
So mostly I don't think he's in the game to be honest, but who knows, things can pop out of nowhere.

There is very solid evidence that he does, infact, NOT exist. There is no texture for him or no code for him. It was simply a small little joke from Notch that all started becoming famous because of the 'Removed Herobrine' in patch notes every now and then.

You may believe in Herobrine if you wish, but it is mostly just an out-of-control story. Just I hope I don't get anyone spamming me with 'HE'S REAL YOU ***' again... used to get those on YT a lot when I mentioned he wasn't real on all these YouTube videos. There was one where this guy found a weird netherrack house on his survival map when mining and everybody was pointing fingers at Herobrine. Minecrafters jump too quickly to strange conclusions sometimes.

I admit, the jokes people make out of these are very amusing sometimes. I remember an animation someone did about some kid being chased by Herobrine. Sadly, it was the one good thing and the YouTuber's account got terminated.


Believe what you will though. Your mind is not mine, you may think what you wish to think. I cannot change that.

~Pikachi~ : Yeah, that's mostly how I view it, I really like on how he looks, but to my point of view, until I see him with my own two eyes on my own computer while I'm playing Minecraft without any modifications, I don't think he is in this game.

I think most of us know it was a hoax. It was just a joke from Notch to cause rumors and fun. There were not many theories, rumors or conspiracies on the topic of Minecraft apart from maybe the odd fan made Creepypasta so Notch certainly had some reason to do so.  

Of course this cause a lot of havoc and frightened players. People were trying to summon Herobrine in many ways but neither were successful. People then began to question the convincing screenshots until they broke down the code only to find it was a hoax.

Technically he does still officially exit since he is one of the DLC skins in Minecraft for the Xbox 360 and by now the PS3 version. 

I kinda hope that they actually add him into the game officially. It will add some tension to the game and will keep players alert at all times. Though It may be a good Idea for him to only come in the game in hard and hardcore mode or to have a separate herobrine option. We wouldn't want to put players off the game entirely!!

Yeah, I would have to say that is definitely a Hoax that Notch came up with

like Pikachi said because I have been playing for a long time and from personal

experience i can say i have never seen Herobrine in MY game.

I think it's safe to say that this myth is busted because no matter how many videos

there are on YouTube saying he is real,don't be fooled because they just want views.

IgorBird122 : Yes..its possible Herobrine exist. You just have to get lucky to see him. As i think about...maybe in minecraft your HEROBRINE! But know one knows yet. Maybe he is invisible and watching you as you play. But i seen some videos of edvidence of him being in the game but it could be all fake.

He isn't real. As Pikachi said there isn't any code for him, he's just a joke by Notch. I do like those videos where people put a Herobrine skin on and scare everyone. Those are hilarious!

MechaMento : I'd do that, but I'm always panicking while playing, even on normal (When my golem wanders away...). Herobrine would probably give me a heart attack! Like that time a witch spawned right outside my house...

I have been playing since a little after alpha and multiple times in the patch notes Herobrine has been "removed" also Notch has denied it point blank multiple times. I think he was at one time in the game but as of right now he isn't

I think he doesn't exist. The people making videos of him existing are you people who use mods and want to get a lot of views from it.

No. He does not exist. I am not a belieber. I read that really long article on the Minecraft Wiki, and they got it all right. Herobrine is fake.

Well, Herobrine used to exist before back in the old days of when Minecraft had just started developing. In one of the  MC updates, Notch removed Herobrine from the game and lots of Youtubers started making hoaxes about Herobrine "returning" but now that's just pure crap. I don't believe in Herobrine (any more).

Considering the fact that this rumor sprouted from a creepypasta, I really don't think he exists. Plus, in the creepypasta, it is described that Herobrine is Notch's dead brother. However, Notch has openly said that he does not have a brother. And if you think he exists because Mojang has said in most of it's major updates" -Removed Herobrine" Mojang has that in there as a practical joke. But the subject of Herobrine is very intriguing.

Within the video game of Minecraft, I do believe Herobrine exists. Why do I believe Herobrine exist? Actually, it is extremely simple. I normally watch Youtube video of SkyDoesMinecraft playing with his friends, and I have noticed an overload of appearances of HeroBrine. Also, my own friends had mentioned that they had noticed him appeared and he is extremely powerful; equipped with a diamond sword, so I definitely believe within Herobrine.

I got so concerned that I looked it up on the Internet and everyone says he is not real I even said something to mojang and they told me the truth... he is not real unless you get the mod but I actually wanted to find him it is a shame

I didn't even know about Herobrine until recently. On one of the servers I administrate the owner added an adventure world with Herobrine's Castle and even though I've barely scratched the surface of the adventure itself, I now have heard about Herobrine and here I am.

He is real look at the patch notes he gets removed them comes back all the time. Nah I'm just kidding it's all a fun joke that everyone plays around with. It's fun too play with the mods and maps about him every now and then. Besides the myth says that Herobrine was Notch's brother but he never had a brother. That trick with the nether totem pole everyone talks about is from the Herobrine mod. That mod is just messed up. The chickens have no eyes and they attack you 0.o. But I can tell you all without a doubt in my mind that he does not exist.

I don't believe in him. He started out as a creepypasta and Notch sort of, adopted him as to speak. The "Herobrine Removed" thing in the patch notes means removed small glitches/bugs, while every other big glitch/bug is actually specified though.
Thing is, the myth says that Notch has a brother that died and escaped into his game, Mine-Craft. First off, that is ridiculous. Second off, Notch has admitted to not having any brothers (He has a half brother, although he is alive, yet they don't really speak)

If you still believe in this whole Herobrine thing, you're pretty gullible. Most "evidence" is either fake or a mod, as in the original game files there is and has never and (most likely) will never be any files for Herobrine. Without mods, he doesn't exist.

I have actually never heard of Herobrine before this. I would have to say that he is just a myth.

Of course Herobrine dosen't exist. If he did exist, we would have found him already, even if he was just hidden in the code.
