The last game I played was Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets on Playstation 2. I've never really gotten into the series in either movie or book form, but I'm kind of partial to this particular game. It might just have something to do with it being my first Playstation 2 game. It's really not bad. It has some issues with clipping and collision detection, but it certainly ranks as playable. The Quidditch matches are probably my favorite single feature about the game.

The last game I played was Oregon Trail (Apple II), a game that I loved since a long time ago. Just for fun, I decided to start off as a carpenter from Ohio, to see how well we would survive the long, arduous trip to Willamette Valley without as much money as a banker. lol

Spoiler:
I named the people in my wagon after something from Vizzed. ^^0;;

In the past, I used to buy a lot of food from Matt's General Store before I set off, but this time, I decided to stock up on plenty of bullets instead. (Yes, I decided to try to continue with only a gun and my 1337 bullet spam hunting skills. ^^0;; Right now, I really have no idea how our wagon is going to fare, because well... we haven't made it past Disk 1 yet. lol )

I chose to leave Independence, Missouri at a steady pace in April partially because it's really April right now. rofl Hopefully, the wagon will make it to Oregon before the winter snows set in. ^^0;; Anyways, the wagon arrived at the Kansas River Crossing without incident and since the river didn't seem to be too deep at the time, I chose to caulk the wagon and float it across the river, which ended up working pretty well. For the rest of the time, I did my best to hunt buffalo and deer to keep everyone's stomachs full, but ever since the wagon passed Chimney Rock (in June), some bad things have started to happen like finding bad water, although it's understandable why there are now fewer animals whenever I go hunting. I get the feeling that for the rest of our journey, I might have to speed up the pace a little bit sometimes, but to my understanding, that increases the chances of the people in the wagon dying to random ailments. =/ In any case, a few people became exhausted and got measles along the way and we even lost our trail for a little while, but otherwise, we're all still alive right now as we wait for Fort Laramie to open up on Disk 2. =)

I am revisiting the NES games I've never beaten and Dragon Warrior II has shown up. I remember vaguely getting a little bit of the way through it and then being frustrated. This was before the internet and online FAQs and walkthroughs. You either paid actual money for Nintendo Power (which my parents wouldn't) or you would call the help lines on the phone and paid them money (which my parents wouldn't).

I'll revisit the game and see what it's like. There's probably a review coming.

Played some Left 4 Dead 2 today. Aside form playing it earlier this week, I have not touched it for months, maybe a year. Sadly, Valve's own servers are rotting away, so it isn't quite as great of an experience as it used to be.

The last game I played was 8 Ball Pool on Facebook ( lol, if that even counts ).

It's just your typical pool game, but it has a few features I really like. For one, you get currency for winning matches, or can even bet amounts against other players, and then use that currency for buying better pool sticks or other things that can help improve your skills. You are randomly paired against other players from around the world ( I've even seen some users with names written in Japanese / Chinese or Arabic lol ), but you always play against people in the same skill tier as you. Probably my favorite feature is that when lining up your shot, the game has a line that shows you exactly where the cue ball is going to go when you hit it. It makes the game sound almost too easy, but believe me it's not lol. I've had a couple perfect games where I didn't miss a shot, but those are extremely hard to pull off. For as long as I've been playing the game, I think I've only managed to buy like the 5th pool stick after the starting one, and there's like 50 different ones to choose from lol. Another cool feature is that you get daily roulette spins which provide random rewards for that day, ranging from currency, bonus spins, among a few other things.

If you like virtual pool, it's definitely a fun time killer. I'm always looking for people to play with on there, so hit me up if you're interested ^^

The last game I played was Severed. It's a game I never would have touched before, but I happened to find myself in possession of a PS+ membership and around a Hotspot that I could use for free, with my PS Vita in hand, and this game was a free game for PS+ members for that month, so I downloaded it.

In the game you play as a girl whose arm was cut off below the elbow in some sort of attack. She was separated from her family at this time and apparently they ended up in another world I guess? Anyway it takes place in a first person perspectibe, but it's something of an action RPG. Weird, right? Additionally your character moves one square at a time, as it were, but you can turn her in all directions freely.

Battles are touch screen based unfortunately, but it actually works fairly well for what it is. In short, you swipe your finger over the enemy to attack them -- the bigger the swipe, the more damage it does -- but you also have to be sure to swipe an area that they aren't shielding. Additionally there's a meter at the bottom of the screen, and when it fills up, the enemy attacks you. If you swipe against their attack and hit their weapon, you can block the attack with no damage.

Possibly the most interesting thing is that with each attack you land, your focus meter builds, and when you kill an enemy with a full focus meter, you enter severed mode which gives you a short amount of time to swipe in all of the highlighted places to cut off their limbs which you can then collect and trade for skill leveling. A little gross, maybe, but interesting concept.

Anyway I have no idea where I was, as it all looks the same: surreal. Still, it's much better than I thought it would be after I saw some videos of it. And concerning what I was doing, I was looking for my family and dismembering weird monsters.

I definitely plan to go back to it soon. For some odd reason I really like it. lol

The last game I played was Sakura Angels (STEAM). I don't know why I was expecting it to be better than Sakura Spirit (also available on Steam), but so far the two games are turning out to be quite similar. oO;; Whereas I was still trying to decide whether or not I was enjoying Sakura Spirit though, I've more or less concluded that Sakura Angels might be a little bit better, as long as I skip through the more suggestive scenes really quickly. oO;; Again, the art doesn't seem to be too bad (I rather like some of the outfits for Sayaka and Hikari, actually, like their battle uniforms), but the story appears to be heading in the same direction that Sakura Spirit went, although the time it took for Sakura Angels to set up the backstory for the main character feels agonizingly long at times. ^^0;; (Yes, the main character, a student named Kenta, does ramble a bit about his life and feelings, but I guess his monologues are supposed to be attempts to get the viewers/audience to identify with the protagonist.) In this sense, Sakura Spirit did a greater job of immediately getting to the core of the story, but when one considers what the point of the story is... well... ^^0;;

Anyways, this time, I more or less had an idea of what to expect from the game (so I wasn't looking for those nice scenes with lots of lovely pink petals drifting in the wind although I'm still sort of disappointed there aren't any  ) so it didn't come as a surprise when I saw some of the more suggestive scenes appear again, but they still sort of make me face-palm myself whenever I do see one that doesn't seem to fit the story very well. So far though, there have been only a few "fan service" scenes that made me want to cover my eyes, and occasionally, I would even find a gem in the battle scenes for Sakura Angels (I have yet to find one for Sakura Spirit though).

As with the other story, I saw some of the same stereotypes and plot devices, but at least the developers for Sakura Angels did try to make the story more interesting by putting their own spin on the typical "confess to the girl on the roof" idea. lol Although the dialogue was still more or less the usual light banter between the characters and the protagonist, I somehow still got the feeling that the developers took more time with developing the characters for Sakura Angels. It's very subtle and one would almost miss it if they weren't actually looking for it, but the way they wrote the dialogue for Sakura Angels made it possible for the viewer/audience to get a sense of the surroundings and atmosphere, along with the actions that each character is performing, without actually having to view a picture of it. oO;; Not all games of this genre can successfully do this (and I guess most fail because they can't do it properly or at all ^^0), but this one actually made me stop for a bit to "feel" and "absorb" the picture that was painted by the words. It may not be beautiful poetry or even elegant, but I think they may have the right idea when it comes to visualization, since they seem to be able to convey the emotions, mood and mental images with minimal text.

At this point, I would say that I'm more inclined to finish this game than the other one, so I'll be continuing the game later. Before I shut off the game, I was the "powerless" protagonist (maybe he'll become something more later?) that was watching his two female companions duke it out with a demonic being that jumped off the top of a building to battle with them. As usual, I hope the storyline starts to get better soon. =)

The last game I played was the PS Vita version of Color Guardians. I got the game as part of my PS+ Membership, which was awesome since I had already decided that I wanted to buy it eventually, and nearly did a few times. Thankfully it landed on the IGC list first.

It's a really simple indie game about funny little creatures (the color guardians) that look like something ripped straight out of a cartoon, and since, as I recall, the developer talked about how his kid helped him with the ideas for it, that makes sense.

Anyway these guardians are apparently the ones responsible for all of the different colors in the world, and just like in a few other games out there, the bad guy came in and took away all of the color in the world. It's up to the color guardians to get it back.

The gameplay is pretty simple in concept: each character can change between three colors with the push of a button: X = Blue, Square = Red, and Triangle = Yellow. There are also color orbs throughout the level that correspond to one of said colors, and it's your objective to get them. To get the color orbs you have to be the same color as them when you touch them. Additionally you need to be spinning when you hit them if you want to get the most color out of them that you can. Oh and did I mention that the character is constantly running toward the exit and won't slow down for anything? Yeah, after a while it can get kind of tricky switching colors in time and switching between the front, middle, and back rows of the level that you're running through.

And the boss fights are interesting too, and probably my favorite part of the game really. Also there are these little glowing winged creatures that look like a near copy of Navi from Ocarina of Time, which appear in certain levels after you clear every level in that given area. You can unlock special levels by replaying the levels they appear in, finding and collecting them like you would the color orbs.

The last place I was: the world map, about to replay castle run level 7 again.

What I was doing: trying to collect all of the little sparkly creatures (I need to see what they're called again lol) so I could unlock a bonus level.

I'll definitely be going back to it, but I'm not sure when. It isn't a bad game, and I fully plan on finishing and even platinuming it, but it's far from being my top gaming priority.

The last game I have played.......Image result for dying light.  for XBOX 1.  Honestly this is probably the best zombie game I have ever played and I don't say that lightly y'all.  Dead Island was amazing but unreal hard....Dead Island:  Riptide...this one was my previous favorite...Escape from Dead Island which was absolutely horrible...among others.  This is the complete zombie game total package (graphics/music...well music could be more varied better but)...hard but not unreal hard.  I give it a 9..if you have a chance to play this on any platform I suggest you do.  Enjoy.

The last game I played was Persona 5. I know I mentioned this earlier in the month, but I'm so addicted to that game. Out of all the JRPG's I've played so far in the 21st century, Persona 5 is definitely the best. Any and all JRPG fans need to buy this game. It's the first Persona game I've played, and now I'm asking myself why I didn't get into the series sooner.

I last played Sniper Ghost Warrior 2. I haven't played any good shooters in a while, and thought it'd be fun to go out sniping!

The last game I played was The Golf Club. I know a lot of people make jokes about golf games, but this game is actually one of the games I wanted the most when I got my PS4. It's a really solid golf sim, unlike the Tiger Woods (or now, the Rory McIlroy games I guess) which license PGA courses, tournament names, and player (And announcer) names, but only offer arcade golf experiences, or at best, arcade sim. Don't get me wrong, I liked the older Tiger Woods games, and I loved 04 to no end, but they were never realistic at all. Who scores 24 under in one round? I did, and so did my opponents (or maybe I was 23 under. Either way, I still lost somehow).

The Golf Club is very realistic in it's approach to golfing however. There's a much more intricate and realistic swing mechanic, the putting is more realistic, and everything else is too. It's no wonder the game caught on so well with golf game fans -- it has no real competitors, not on consoles at the very least.

In this one I'm having an amazing game if I score 2 under on a round, and I'm usually over at the end of one. lol If you make a mistake, it's flat out punishing and unforgiving. But that's in stark contrast to how beautiful and relaxing the rest of the experience is. And while the EA golf titles I listed hold your hand, use crazy stat systems, and inject tons of unrealistic overcompensating boosts to your shots (chip ins, hole in ones, and 40ft putts are relatively common), The Golf Club is a game that rewards you for playing your best and for practicing A LOT. Kind of like real life, yeah?

But it can really be deflating on a bad round. I can walk away for large periods of time before getting back into it if I play too badly, because it's frustrating. The payoff makes it worthwhile if you stick it out though.

As for what I was doing: I was playing one of the basic courses to get myself practiced up for another tournament (I really wish I could play in the online tourneys) because last time the Amateur tournament kicked my butt so bad I was almost sore. lol

Where I was: specifically, Little Brook Manor. Yeah yeah, I know. Wimpy.

Will I go back to it: unless TGC 2 blows my mind in a big way, then yes. I don't see myself getting over this game for quite sometime.

The last game i played was The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. T been spending hours playing this game just so i could beat it. It does require hours of game play because of the long storyline and trying to complete side quest.

I wasn't sleeping all that much last night so I went and got after the NES title MIke Tyson's Punch-out. Not super punch out by the original.

For the life of me, I can't get by Bald Bull. Even using the 'cheat' of saving the screenshot and resetting, I just don't have the reflexes, skills, or timing to beat him. I kept losing over and over and ultimately I got frustrated and went off to sleep. I have never beaten him, even back in the day with my NES when I was a little kid. Maybe one day I'll sit through some YouTube videos and plan my strategy.

I doubt it, though. I don't care that much.

The last game I played was Data Hacker Initiation. Before I started to play the game, I thought it would be a cute game with fluff and bunnies in it (think Secret of Mana with their adorable sprites and Rabites), but then the game turned on and I became confused. lol Even though the title was "Data Hacker," I didn't think I'd actually be playing from the perspective of a hacker who had made a game character in the semi-cute "Online World" that they had decided to join. XD rofl I've never liked anything to do with hacking or enjoyed hearing about hack attempts, so some of the dialogue was a bit annoying at first (the main character, Jay, really thinks he's way better than the system for Online World), but I guess that sort of comes with the territory for a game about how you're a guy who can even hide from the Online World Admins (well, with help from another random guy named Jaque, that is). So far, the gist of the story appears to be that for some unknown reason, people have started disappearing in real life because they were playing in "Online World." Since my "character" is not exactly a "normal character," however, I don't imagine that he's going to end up disappearing so easily since he appears to have the ability to hack many of the items, creatures, things and even people in the game. With the way the game is set up, I don't really need to "hack" anything in Online World yet, but I get the feeling that over time, I might eventually have to since the difficulty level of the creatures increased quite a bit right before I stopped playing (I accidentally walked into a tougher enemy while training in the dungeons, so then I was warped outside again). Also, the button for using the Hack Technique is conveniently placed near the top of my actions list, so I'm guessing that was supposed to be a huge hint to me as to how I should have been playing this game... ^^0;; Eventually, I did learn how to use that technique, but I probably need to level some more (or at least grind a bit, or maybe a lot  ) because towards the end of my training session (before I was warped out of the dungeon), I was having trouble with "hacking" the creatures I was  fighting against. I wanted one of them as a "pet" =P (sometimes, there's a chance a successful hack will turn the creatures you are battling against into an ally that will then proceed to join your team and fight alongside you for the rest of the time). Since one of the creatures I was fighting turned into a teammate, I now have a Warrior on my team that I haven't renamed yet (but I bought him a sword and even though he's technically following me around as a ghost right now thanks to the tough creature we fought against), I'm beginning to enjoy having him around. =)

Since we had issues in the dungeon, I stopped the game shortly after I stopped training and tried to challenge one of the Online World people to a game of their special type of cards (I don't know yet why it's called Trioarch), and was defeated rather quickly ^^0;; , so now I'm going to learn the rules for playing that game. lol

Anyways, I will be playing this game to the end in the next few days since I'm actually pretty curious as to how this "hacker" is going to end up (in jail or something else perhaps?), and if the Admins of Online World are going to try to work with him (like they sometimes do in some of the other stories). It seems to me that he won't be dying in this game though, because after Data Hacker Initiation are the other games in the Data Hacker series, Reboot and Corruption.

Well, on the tablet, I last was playing BlazBlue RR - currently in the fifth chapter, if I remember correctly, and have five characters unlocked, with a sixth on the way soonish.

On my 3DS, I'm working through Pokémon Moon, and have completed the Water Trial.

On console, my last game I played was... I think it was King's Quest on the Xbox 1.

The last game I played was a third person shooter called Afterpulse for iOS by game developer Gamevil, who are known for a variety of RPG games. I think the game was released near the end of 2015, and I remember downloading it on my iPod Touch ( 5th Generation ) around the same time or maybe early 2016.

The single player gameplay was alright but once you jumped into multiplayer it started to lag a little more, which made the entertainment level drop for me and I ended up not playing it for a few months. Long story short, I picked up the 6th Gen near the end of 2016 ( after losing my 5th Gen, which I end up finding later ) and re-downloaded the game because I saw that it received a few updates and figured I'd try it out again. I've been playing it ever since because the MP gameplay slightly improved in terms of lag ( thanks to those few updates and a somewhat better processor ), but there are still a few bugs that they need to work out. I guess I've come to respect the game after not playing it for so long.

This game is worth a try if you're a fan of third person shooters on mobile devices. It's not too complicated and there are plenty of upgrades/rewards to keep you busy for a while.

The Last game I played was Nihilumbra. I played a little of it for a refresher on the audio before putting up a review on it since for some reason I hadn't done so even almost two years after finishing this amazing game.

The game is about the feelings that we all struggle with, usually in secret. Feelings of inadequacy, despair, alienation, and even guilt. It's about pretty much every human emotion, and it deals with tough issues like questioning your worth and even whether you should just give up on living. And as I said in my review on it, I love that the story is actually about you, the player. I've never seen another game that does this. And the fact that it does this and manages to feel so personal, like it was tailored to you specifically, gives it even more meaning as it shows that the things you feel and struggle with are common to us all. That you're not alone.

As for the gameplay, you go through the game solving puzzles (it's a puzzle platformer) and at the end of each area you pick up a new color -- color is something you, Born, are not familiar with. And before I go further, let me say that's much deeper than it sounds. Anyway, you use these colors to help you traverse the world around you and overcome obstacles that you couldn't have overcome before going through your last ordeal.

Each color has it's own unique qualities, such as Blue which makes the ground slick like ice and can thus be used as a tool to aid your progress, or a weapon against your enemies. It quickly becomes more and more in depth with every color you pick up, and the game eventually begins lending itself to many new strategies. It manages to genuinely feel like you're accomplishing these feats, and that you are coming up with all of these solutions yourself, not just following a plan set before you. The game lets you own your experiences.

Where I was: in Void mode, replaying a level I'd already finished.

What I was doing: Testing the mechanics all over again to see if I was still familiar with it. Specifically I was taking out a few enemies, one of which was a Crawlaggar, and trying to clear the frozen levels again.

Will I be going back to it. I intend to, definitely. I can't say how long it will be before I do, but I intend to.

Also, I highly recommend this game to everyone, gamer or not.

The last games I have been playing...Image result for dying light and Image result for the division.  I finally beat Dying Light yesterday and like I said before..one of best zombie games ever....ending was a little better than average....the lead up to the end boss was hard so it kinda have made the end not as great as expected.  I think all games should have endings that are worthy if the game is noted as being very difficult....that's just me though.  Now....The Division....just started playing it but it's top notch....probably buy it through GF cheaper gotta check that out but yeah....definite badass game.  Check out the trailer for it on youtube....awesome.  I'll let y'all know though...enjoy.
