Pretty much when I am on my laptop or computer I am listening to music no matter what. The few exceptions are is when I am editing videos or playing certain games. I don't usually do it while I skype but sometimes I do.

supercool22, in the other thread I summoned you since I might have found a solution to the quick, abrupt stopping that you're facing. Just in case you see this first.

I find listening to dubstep or techno is much easier while posting. I'm listening to pop right now which makes a little harder to think about what I'm typing, but it's just so much better than the first two that I can't switch =P

I'm sure there's been scientific studies about how music really changes the mood of the listener.

I've also been using this:
http://www.infinitelooper.com/ - I don't think it's cool enough to have it's own thread, but I definitely use this during posting to keep myself with energy without having to manually replay songs. It's a handy feature.
