latias900 : Totally! That game is fantastic. I love it so very much. I didn't expect the hilarious story and characters and awesome combat and beautiful graphics and great soundtrack going into it.

latias900 : I almost forgot about it, but you reminded me about that special place in my heart that game got. I actually only played through it once, and have never fully played through again. I have never felt so satisfied over a game, and I'm not sure what makes me feel that way about it. Maybe it just felt like a very fresh and exciting experience at the time. I felt like it threw a lot of surprises at me, and I could never know what to expect. That might also be why I can't bring myself to play it all over again, as I won't get that feeling of not knowing what's coming. 

Also before someone points out that you never know what's going to happen in a game you haven't played, you can often expect what's coming. The antagonist is often introduced at some time during the game, like Bowser, Ganondorf, Xehanort, The Prophet, etc. But in Kid Icarus

A game that I have been able to replay though, and is my temporary favorite (if we call Kid Icarus my permanent), is Kingdom Hearts 3D. Even though I would say it's not the best in the series, I do enjoy it a lot. Especially the critical mode I'm playing right now, as you have to plan which spirit (your partners in this game) you should use and level up to gain different abilities that you need to survive the bosses in the game. 

catamandoo : Good choice! I still need to finish up on previous entries before I complete that one. But I've played it and it really is great.

I don't really know which one is my favourite. But I could say that The Legend Of Zelda Ocarina Of Time 3D , The Legend Of Zelda Majora's Mask 3D or Super Smash Bros. for 3DS would be my favourite. It's hard to decide.

Tama10 : All good choices, I've beaten both OoT 3D as well as Majora's Mask 3D. OoT was personally my favorite out of the two. 
But if I were to update my choice to make it more modern, I'd probably say Smash Bros. 3DS.

I'm gonna go with Kid Icarus: Uprising, as well. For once, my favorite in any form of category including a Kirby game is not actually the Kirby game!

Inventive, funny, fast-paced, and fun. They nailed the single player for all it's worth, but multiplayer can get super intense. The control works well enough to the point that you don't feel burdened by them, either. (And no, you CAN'T get carpal tunnel just from flicking a stylus back and forth (I've heard this argument against the control))

I am going to go with Kid Icarus: Uprising. With Smash Brothers 3DS as a close second. That answer may change once I get Xenoblade Chronicles 3D though...

But who can resist the amazingness that is Hades? Nobody!

Jordanv78 : You have good taste! I've been meaning to play Luigi's Mansion 2. I haven't gotten to it yet for some reason.

My new favorite 3DS game was going to be the Gravity Falls game but someone decided to only ship copies of the game to Gamestops in 2 of the 50 states. TWO!!! The game is already out and if I don't want to pay $10 for shipping AND wait 2 weeks, I need to drive 600 miles or wait until it comes out over here.

But yeah, that's my favorite game now. i've seen some gameplay so far and it's AWESOME.

With regards to Luigis Mansion Dark Moon, if you are a fan of the original game on the Game Cube, you will love this one. It's a VERY faithful sequel to the original game. It has the best 3D depth of the earlier 3DS games that I have played and plays pretty much the same way as the original with added depth and tweaks to some of the control annoyances that existed in the original. It also had a cool multiplayer game that unlocked once you got to a certain point in the game. Pretty cool all around.

All right I made up my mind, my favorite game is the gravity falls one. Yes, its very short only will take me like 5 hours to beat, and I had a lot more fun with smash bros and I still have yet to play Bravely Default, Kingdom Hearts and two Pokemon games, but this game has a great charm to it. Its so funny, and it features the show that's mg favorite, so I already relate a lot to the game which is why I love it so much.

zanderlex : Nice! It's good to have an uncommon opinion. I haven't heard of a Gravity Falls game for 3DS. But I do like it when licensed games are done well.

Metal Gear Solid 3D: Snake Eater. I can't help it. I'm addicted to MGS. Doesn't run too well (20fps cap) but it looks gorgeous, especially in 3D. With the addition of crouch walking and over the shoulder aiming, the game plays much better than any other version too

As far as original games go (not a port), Super Mario 3D Land is amazing. Best platformer since the original Mario Galaxy

It's definitely a tie between Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate and Animal Crossing: New Leaf. I am a huge fan of Monster Hunter, and MH4U was the bomb. Also a huge fan of Animal Crossing and haven't missed a single game. Looking forward to the happy home designers game (fingers crossed a friend picks it up for Christmas). But definitely both are amazeballs and I'm in love with them. I haven't been able to stop playing MH4U. ;u; 

Rasenganfan2 : Great choices for both! I love Snake Eater but I don't think I love it enough to spend the time and money to replay it on my 3DS. But I certainly think it's really cool that it was ported. I'm personally rooting for a Peace Walker 3D so I can finally play it.

taterii : Peace Walker's on the 360 and PS3 if you have either. It's part of the HD/Legacy Collection

Rasenganfan2 : I do have a 360 and I'm considering getting the legacy collection if I can find it for cheap. It's just that I've already beaten all of the other games in the collection, so I'd rather not spend a huge amount.

MH4U is my favorite game to play for hanging out with friends and passing the time by picking a fight and going for it. Really addicting game, I invest lots of my free time into it.
