Scratches on plastic glasses?

I don't know how mine got there, but they are there, so I am assuming the employees at my glasses place didn't treat them with the protective spray when I got them?

I asked my parents for money to replace my lenses and so I can go in and ask to treat the lenses but they said I'll have to wait until sometime next year (my birthday perhaps) to replace them because they cannot afford them and neither can I!!!?

Would you honestly be able to notice if people had scratches on their glasses? Not BIG scratches like as if some animal had scratched them or something but yea??

Even if it is, please answer!?

I certainly wouldn't worry about it! If they bother your eye sight, then yes get them replaced when you can, but don't worry that other people will think it looks bad, you never really notice such things on people, and even if you do.. .who cares?

I'll probably notice it once I start talking to you since I usually look in the eyes of whoever I speak with... but I don't really mind about those kinds of stuff, who cares if your glasses have a tiny bit of scratch? I'll get more bothered about a dirty footwear than scratched glasses.

Usually most people don't notice scratches on your glasses unless they are right up in your face starring at them.. you can barley notice them unless they are huge scratches then it would be a bit noticeable. Just try not to point it out to people.. because I tend to do stuff like that :s

I think the only people who would notice would be the eye doctor (what ever they are called). He or she might have a look to see why you are getting them replaced. I wouldn't worry about that though because they would just think that is the reason why you are changing them and he or she might just say that you should take more care.

When I talk to someone I look at their eyes, not the glasses, so I wouldn't see scratches unless it's right in front of their eyes. Plus our minds discard 99% of irrelevant information, so even if I did see it, I'd forget within 30 seconds.

I'll be honest, if I was talking to you in person, I wouldn't even notice the scratches on your glasses. That would be because I usually dislike making eye contact to other people. But if I feel I need to do so, then I would just look in your eyes and still won't notice any scratches on your glasses.

The only way for them to would be if they were REALLY close to your face and staring right at your glasses, which may be VERY uncomfortable for you, anyway. But even then, it may be difficult.

I know this from experience; my boyfriend was the only one who knew I had a scratch on my glasses, and he couldn't really see it unless it was tilted in the light.
