I don't do either one very often, but I prefer yoga, despite my poor flexibility. Yoga helps me relax while still moving. Meditation usually implies you sit still and just reflect. I honestly cannot stay still to save my life, which makes yoga the better option for me.

Meditate a lot. I like meditating, really gets my mind off of all of the stresses I have in life such as relationships and school. It really helps me to calm down and then after get doing on what I need to do. Overall, meditating is really helpful.

I don't meditate or take yoga. they just seem pointless to me. if I want to exercise, I normally just go outside and play some games.

I use to do Yoga every day to keep myself flexible due to my work being physically intensive. This was done on WiiFit, funny enough, but it provided enough stretches for me to loosen up. Unfortunately. That 30 minutes of doing poses just felt like it kept eating up my time, and I so I stopped.

However, while I am at work, I do some stretches before starting, in which I incorporate a few Yoga poses to get a good full body stretch. Overall, I do believe it has helped prevent some injuries for me! Still, I partly wish that I could get back into a set rhythm of thirty minutes a day of Yoga again. Not only did it limber me up, but there was a part of me that felt really good doing it.

I do like to sit and think about things that are going on in my life or things that have absolutely nothing to do with anything if that counts as meditation. I rarely do Yoga however as I don't feel the need to nor do I feel like doing it. In that case I would rather just have a normal work out though I would rather do neither

I don't really do meditation(in my opinion) or yoga, but sometimes I just stop "thinkspeaking"(or thinking) by closing my eyes and merely listening to environment. That seems to get me a fresh "stream" of thoughts unaffected by previous emotions usually. Also, I may just sharply focus on imagining existence of something not really existing with me and trying my best to know it's there by as many senses as possible. An example could be sword, image of which you may make up by closing eyes and imagining it's visible, imagine that the hands are feeling the grip, and have feeling that sword is actually somewhere close to your body(there's some sense i heard of which tells you where certain thing is touching you). When feeling that you are thinking of nothing else, then get back to reality

I hear about all sorts of things like think of 'nothing', concentrate on one thing or just something to escape from current thoughts in mind and replacing them with either something, or nothing. Maybe all we really need to do is to somehow refresh the "thought stream"(replacing current thought stream with a new one, and here I don't know if this phrase "thought stream" really exists, just think of it as a steady flow of thoughts).

P.S. I don't think that the things I sometimes do to calm my mind are really meditations(could be some part ripped off from meditations)

I do on occasion, but it is usually because I am forced into doing one or the other. I would rather not, but I kind of have to sometimes. Whether that be outside of school, or in gym class.

I actually used to go to yoga class every week a couple years back, I still try to do some poses ever now and a again just to stretch my muscles out. It was a great experience despite the circumstances, I'd love to go back to classes for it but it's such a distance away now and I don't want to spend the money on it either, plus I have no idea where my yoga mat went. I think yoga and meditating kind of go hand in hand though, you should be a peace with yourself so you can get the full benefit of it.

I use to meditate when I was younger. It use to set my mind at ease. I was a little interested in yoga but never actually tried it. Maybe one of these days.

When I was going through physical therapy for my back, they had me try Yoga. I did not like it. It hurt my backs way to much.

I never really do either meditate nor yoga, but at my Advanced Health class, we did do a little bit of yoga. Nothing out of your imagination, just the usual stretches and calming exercises. Gets me loose, I suppose. I did enjoy it for the rare times we did it.
