What is something that you feel is no biggie when waiting? Anything that you even love to wait for, if anyone even likes to wait?

I don't have a specific thing that I feel absolutely no biggie in waiting for, but rather just a mix here and there. If there's a senior citizen walking across the street, and the light is green, what's there to rush? I don't mind waiting for him/her to cross the street.

There's also this thing where maybe some young kid comes up to me and asks me for help. Let's say golf for example (purely as an example; I suck at golf). I am doing pretty good on the front nine, and some kid, maybe age nine or ten, comes up to me and asks me for help on how to swing nicely and put accurately. I would take my time to thoroughly explain to him/her what to do, how to do it, tips and tricks, and what not to do. So tat kid practices for a while, and starts to play side by side with me. Say he/she takes so much time each hole...I absolutely don't care. I'll gladly wait. I just have the wonderful fuzzy feeling of teaching someone and seeing that person improve and practice...I guess I like to teach and help others out.

Speaking of anything I love to wait for...I strongly dislike waiting for anything unnecessary. And I do not always get the chance to even get to have the fuzzy feeling after teaching someone, hey, I do not even get many chances to even  guide someone since everyone's on their phones these days, not even playing outside much.
I actually do not know many people who like to wait either lol.

Is there anything you don't mind waiting for?

Edit; Dunno what happened to the layout lol.

Sidewinder : I really like this topic. I can honestly say I haven't seen another like it before, and I'm surprised that it has never come up.

As for your layout, you need to align the position, instead of having the image tiled.

Time is just a man-made idea, intended to create the illusion of being in control. In truth, we have very little control, and we're all constantly waiting; whether you are waiting for love, change, wisdom, or even for something as simple as the bus. We are all born into this world waiting to die. I think that people should take action instead of waiting for things to happen, and learn patience for those things in which they have no control. Even if our efforts always turn up having the same result in the end, you can't say that they don't make the ride interesting while it lasts.

Guardian Zack: I feel that the #1 thing worth waiting for is that perfect someone that you will end up spending the rest of your life with.
This is a very positive post and I truly admire the question and I hope others will come and reply to this post.

Sidewinder :
frankie15 :

Aw man I just had a huge response typed out and then it didn't go through So I'll briefly try to paraphrase it!  I like this thread, Sidewinder   You made me think about lots of things and how hard waiting is sometimes for me.  I totally agree with frankie15 that waiting for your perfect love is the thing worth waiting for the most!  I'm 31 years old and finally have met the man I would like to spend the rest of my life with and when I think back about the others I've dated I cringe wondering about who I could be married to if I had settled.  Don't ever settle for someone who doesn't have all the characteristics you're looking for in a partner.  Marriage should last a lifetime and this is why there are so many divorces.  People think that they have to be with their high school sweetheart, but how much do they really know about another high school kid?  You don't know how that person will act when they are older or what job they will have or if they will be a good parent.  There is so much to be gained by not jumping into a serious relationship or marriage at a young age.  This is a great thread, Sidewinder   It's also fun waiting for Christmas to arrive   The build-up to it is sometimes better than the actual day!

There is a difference between waiting for something and allowing something to develop.  You wait for a bus because you have no control over when it shows..... or do you?  Why not start walking towards the next stop and see what happens?  Roll the dice!  Be dangerous.  That old senior citizen is walking in front of you?  Beep the horn and cheer her on!  Wave!  Be active and play a role in the world.

Waiting is easy for me.  I can sit and be patient for a long time.  I'll wait for anything.  I prefer to be an action person and go out to create and make things happen if I can help it.  I'm a doer!

I love waiting on a lot of things. I love helping people as well but I usually feel bad if I can't be of help to that person.

Usually when new games come out there like 50+ dollars and everybody is always getting them but I always wait until the price drops down to at least 30.. it helps a lot and saves money. Yes there is that urge for me to want to buy the game right then but I always wait for it.

Usually if there is somebody who needs help I love helping them the best way I can. If they start asking question after question or I'm actually teaching them how to do something I am patient with them and wait because that is how I am.

Waiting is something I have always had to deal with in my life and I guess I have mastered it in general. I hope to make many helped and happy as time goes by.

I can definitely relate i have no patience what so ever but when teaching or helping others you feel good about. That why teacher become teachers. This is a sign that you still have some humanity in you lol. Over time I grew a lot of hatred because people some time or most time arnt worth helping because we are naturally predator and selfish. But helping kid who are clueless make us feel like we are doing the right thing . Most people do the right things for the wrong reason expecting something in retrun. What your feeling is somewhat of a parent figure.
My recent study in human life is strange. It turns out most people are taught to help themselves. For example
I was recently qualified to become a manager but I been with the company for less then a year, sure the employee were upset with me and wanted that position I told them if they want it take it because I didn't apply I was asked and I felt it was unfair for people who has been with the company for 3-10 years . One of the employee told me. Think about yourself and what it can do do you.  I ask around if any one wanted it even tho they want me to be promoted .
After I got promoted we had volunteer to see how thing work. One of our employee said to the volunteer you should never work for free. I felt that was a stupid comment. Later that day waiting in line at the store there was a conversation in front of how a parent was teaching or lecturing someone probably her son she said quote live for yourself do what you need to do no matter what to survive .
My opinion about this is that we are being taught the wrong way. Rich , poor , average Joe we all have different mindset
i believe that you need someone to rely on something to care and to support you. And you live for them because if you live for yourself that makes you selfish and living to benefit yourself well you will live a life without friend and people to trust
I live for my wife without her I would go mad I do everything for her. What I'm trying to say is that when you have someone you care about that counting on you. You naturally will do your best to deliver. Some people forget and the truth is you just don't care even though you realize your mistake.  If your really sorry for your mistake you can feel it in your gut or heart

I don't mind waiting for anything really. I wouldn't mind waiting for something I'm cooking to come out of the oven, since the longer I wait, the more I'll enjoy the food.
I don't mind being patient when trying to help someone with a formula in Maths, since I'm helping someone, and that's a good thing for both us.
I don't mind waiting for anything, really. Because the longer you wait, the better things are.

But then again, if you don't need to wait... Go out and do it!

drago : I agree, even though I am a bit impatient, but I don't mind waiting for anything because if I am waiting for it, there must be a reason for me to wait, and just having a good reason is enough for me.
