Do you get uncomfortable when discussing sexual reproduction? I don't. I am probably the only person in my health class that can talk about it with a straight face. How about you?

Nope .  Not one bit . It is a part of nature and once you are mature enough then it is ok . Plus if it does go horribly wrong I just Close my eyes and pretend its all a bad dream  

No, I do not get embarrassed. I bet if I were to take part in sexual reproduction discussions in elementary school...LOL I would be laughing my head off, but no, not now. 

Obviously, can't control this, but there are many people in my class who always look at each other, smirking. It's like an inside joke, but it isn't. Anyway, I am mature about this topic, seeing how I had a class about it for about a month or so for Health class lat year. 

The only thing that really gets me embarrassed is like when there's an activity about sexual stuff, like STD's, and the teacher has you draw a card with a situation on it regarding STD's, like 'Bob went to a party and got _______ . How did that happen?' That is when my ears start to burn a bit, but my class is okay with it. We all feel the same way.

Um, no? I was taught about sex at a very young age (okay maybe not 'taught' per se, but...).

Anyways, it's not uncomfortable. Especially at my age. However, I believe it's good to lightly joke about the matter. I find it refreshing and it makes learning about it more intriguing.

I can't name many people who do get uncomfortable when you talk to them about it. And almost all of them are under 13.

It's just a fact of life. For there to be birth, one must have sex. It's a topic many of us learn rather early in life (for most, before Middle School even), so we've just grown to accept it at an earlier age.

I'm a 21 year old man. If I couldn't talk about sexual reproduction comfortably, I'd have messed up somewhere down the line in my personal development.

When I was 6th and 7th grade I got embarrassed a bit but it was because of my classmates asking me if I (*information not suitable for kids*) but that is something boys normally do at that age, so now I'm not embarrassed.

It really depends with who I am talking to. When I discuss it with my friends we are pretty much discussing porn! Otherwise we are probably making joke revolving around the topic. 
In class I am a lot more serious because it is more about learning things and most of it has nothing really to do with the actually sexual intercource. When I a teacher asks me how do you encourage a sperm release then I will blush a lot (this actually happened to me!), I really did not want to describe how we would have to go back and forth to encourage it. That is just taking it too far!
My mum is probably the most awkward person to talk to about this topic. We will start a normal conversation about me going through puberty and then she once asked me if there were any girls I am attracted to sexually. I questioned why she asked me and she said it was just typical male hormones! (like she knows!)

Well, given that I am also a biology teacher, the answer is no. If I couldn't talk about it comfortably, then I would not be effective in having to teach it. Granted, I have not yet had to teach that lesson to students (and might not ever have to if I keep my theater teaching job). But I have no issue with it. As a matter of fact, my teacher from 1st grade had to tell me that I could't talk about how babies are made to my fellow classmates

The only time I've really felt awkward about it was when I was forced to give a presentation about different STDs and their effects in biology class(with pictures). It's just typically not fun to show groups of people pictures of genitalia that you found on the internet.

When I was a teenager if the teachers themselves could keep a straight face during sex-ed we didn't snicker so much. But if they would stutter when putting a condom on a banana in front of a bunch of 15-years old face all red,ofcource it was hilarious. Like from a sketch comedy show.But this almost never happened and the coolest of teachers could shut up even the class clowns with a few snappy answers.

What we did laugh about tough were the dialogue in the corny soft core sex-ed films. During the "sex" scenes it was as quite as in a tomb but when the actors actually said something... it was so asinine it was hilarious.

As an adult ofcource, I don't give much either way if there is some sex talk.

In health class today a lady came to talk to us about STDs and she had a bunch of pictures, if you get what I am saying. Everyone in the room was like "Eww! Gross!" and looking away. But it didn't bother me at all.

Not really, I don't find it to be like a table discussion sort of thing, but I just think that it should be approached maturely, which a lot of people in my school can't even handle it that way because they are immature. If you even say the plural form of ball, they start laughing and making dumb comments, I am just like really? You are in 10th grade, grow up already. 

I really hated health last year though, it was kind of disturbing, and again, it didn't help that I was in a class filled with immature baboons that couldn't even handle the topic. So that is what I had to put up with.

Overall, it doesn't really bother me that much, but the annoying, immature fools that find it to be some sort of funny joke get on my nerves. Good question by the way.

Sex ed class was definitely awkward for me.

Well, seeing as all the guys laugh at the words sperm, penis, and vagina, I am going to say I got used to it. 

It would do more good in real life for example to explain what the clitoris is and how to interact with it than to know the magical journey of the sperm to the womb. Well, you live and you learn.
