I do think black holes are terrifying. I'm also incredibly fascinated with the concept of time as it reaches infinite mass at the center since time would kill the observer instantly from an outside perspective as time is sped up so much. The fact that time warps around massive objects has always intrigued me.

I like blacks holes a lot- did you know that there is supposed to be a region in(or near) black hole called photon sphere, where light sort of revolves around black hole and that it's possible to see the back of your head  in front of your eyes there?

I have also read that black holes have mass, charge and angular momentum as it's only (independent) properties... wow all this learnt by using laws of general relativity...

I think their existence has not been proved in outer space, though we have indirect  evidence and it's expected that the center of many galaxies contain a black hole.

It all depends on if we end up killing ourselves off before we manage to make technology sufficient enough to allow for travel within black holes. I feel like we could one day obtain more information from them, and use them to our advantage in some way, but it definitely won't happen for some time. Many people are afraid of them though, and rightfully so, the unknown is a scary place. The odds of us being devastated by a black whole within time relative to [us], is low though, so I am not too worried. Not unless the earth is dragged away by some sort of alien race, or we mess up bad enough.
