I'm not vegetarian but I respect other's lives choices whether it's for health reasons or ethical beliefs. I don't eat meat too often, so I can say contrary to what deg2000 just posted, you can get everything you need without eating meat. I often get protein from eggs, but there's a lot of protein in spinach, mushrooms, sprouts, beans, peanuts, and sunflower seeds. So it's definitely possible to survive without meat. It's probably healthier too.
