You can find all the rules here.   Basically, summon someone new to this thread that hasn't already accepted a commitment to this event.  In order to be sure you've read the instructions, I added a new rule to the original post from the other thread.  (It's at the very bottom.)  If you don't follow that rule, you can not play this round.

This time, after summoning someone, provide a link to an online poem.  Make sure the poem is family friendly, but the poem can be about any topic, of any length, and of any genre.

Let's see where this goes this time.

(Remember, just because you summon someone doesn't mean you will be participating.  Someone must summon YOU and you must accept their summon.   If you are responding to someone's summon, please clearly state whether you intend to participate or not.    Thank you!)

Just so I and everyone else is clear on this, can I summon 2 people here and name 2 poems without being summoned first? If so, that means that I am still not officially participating in this event until someone summons me back and names a poem for me?

Hello everyone!  So the deadline did pass, and I gotta say... those entries were AMAZING!  I kind of feel bad because I feel like mine was the absolute worst.  LOL  I never knew that my drawing skills and creativity were QUITE as bad as they are until I saw what all of you put forth. I'm a little ashamed.  LOL

I especially love that I gave such a lame assignment and that you guys were so awesome about it.

I personally would LOVE to do this again, but I fear not coming up with any creative ideas.  Do you guys WANT to do it again? Don't be afraid to hurt my feelings, because I know I'm not a very creative person.  I think it's just fun gifting the random people that sign up.  LOL Maybe we can create our pool of participants in a different manner.... As in... anyone who wants can sign up, and then we randomly summon and gift people that DIDN'T sign up?

I did like the first version better, but didn't want you guys to get bored by doing the same thing. I also thought of making the assignment to be an actual recording of you singing... but I knew participation would drop to practically zero. haha.

Are you interested in doing this again, and if so, are there any suggestions on what to do differently?

Singelli : I'd be totally in for another round, however with your new signing up idea, I think that some people might do something for a bunch of the same well known people. Or like, summon a person each letter:

Example:

-person 1: For an A I shall summon
*username that starts with A*

and then the next person does that with B, and so on.

What kind of new gifts did you have in mind? Another layout/picture or another poem? A cartoon, maybe?

I also like the new summoning idea.  Except that would kinda limit who could play and couldn't...

As for gift ideas, I can't really think of anything -fresh-. I kinda liked the first way I did it best, where you had many options to choose from. I thought it was fun... I just can't think of more ideas. lol
